But remember one thing: don't lose your head to a woman that'll spend your bread: Lotus Turbo Esprit (89-11); Lotus Esprit GT3 (12-14): Lotus Evora S (14-17); Lotus Esprit V8 SE "UK Last 15" (18-23) Lotus Emira FE 400 (23-..)

budgie, tomahawk, chopper

boxer, strika, grifter, grifter xl, bomber

topper? winner, olympus, arena, bannana

these were the most important items in your life at the time...

:scooter:

summer holidays that never ended....climbing trees, games of soldiers.... jumpers for goalposts, it was all green fields round here....

I will never forget the feeling of smug joy at pushing that lever forward and overtaking my frantically pedaling older brother on Christmas afternoon... deralier gears... :harhar:

I Had a Chopper and then a Winner.

My dad were right 'bout that saddle though!

Had a brilliant tomahawk for years even when when I sprouted and should have "upgraded" to a chopper (dad was a mean bastard). Loved the "Redline" tyres :smoke: Was so disappointed when the rear wore out and my dad would only stump for a shitty plain one.

Eventually nagged his ear off for the (heavily advertised) Grifter replacement and regretted it within days, it was so heavy you needed to be Geoff Capes to shift it

He wasn't amused when it sat in the shed forever more

As a side note if Classic racing teams and modelmakers like Tamiya can't get away with "historic" fag advertising on defunct Lotus F1 cars, how come they can on a kid's bike?

Always wanted a Chopper, folks were put-off by the stories. Had a Grifter instead, turned the mudguards inside out - instant motorbike noise from the knobbly tyres - try that on a Chopper!
