Lots of Evoras spotted at Snetterton

I arrived at Snetterton for a track day  in my Celica and parked up in a paddock full of Lotuses! I almost wished I had brought my Evora instead until I spotted an MSG Evora GTE! It is stunning! Is the owner a TLF member?

No it does have a yellow stripe but not a GTE plate. It is LHD - don't want to go snooping around it without its owner there - I'll say hi if I spot hin later.

Yeah looks like it guess the plate has been swapped... Looked good in my rear mirror for 5s and even better disappearing off in front of me

According to the Registry, there is only one GTE in green. The plate might now be NR20GT. 

Either way, the owner is a TLFer (Ishy).

 It's on a 63 plate with an A on the front. I'm at the other end of the paddock but will try and meet the owner later.

Well maybe it's because I've just been deafened by a 211 but standing here on the pit wall the GTE seems almost silent!

Well I apologise - it's not a ten a penny GTE - it's #1 of just 3 Evora GTS

FYI, Joe, but that's not one of 'the' GTEs. 

I suspect that it is a track prepared Evora (cage etc) with GTE stickers on the side.

That was probably me! (If you were really observant, you might have noticed the Motorsports wheels...)

I had to dash off though, I'm afraid, so I couldn't hang around.

That definitely wasn't the car @ Snetterton today. The GTS in question had a black GTE wing, grey forged 18/19 wheels and a horizontal yellow stripe through the middle of the doors (as well as the usual stripe down the roof and bonnet). 

I didn't see it close up but I'm not 100% convinced that it was genuine GTS. I suspect that someone has track prepped an Evora S (stripped and caged it) then put the GTS stickers on.

I spoke to the chap that was driving it - he said it was built by Lotus motorsport and showed me the plaque on the tub...

IIRC he said he was Isle-of-thorns on TLF - can he feel his ears burning?

Sure that car was entered into the Silverstone Classic competition car auction this year.

Saw it listed but not sure if it sold or not.
