I've looked at the video quite a few times, but still don't understand the fuss. Just a normal afternoon drive, maybe a bit slow at times.

So roughly £7.5k. Not as bad as I was expecting but I'm still unsure whether to go ssc tvs1900 or komotec when the warranty runs out

I've been a little skeptical of the Komotec upgrades but this does look very well executed and had Lotus produced this I would definitely be upgrading. As it is I'm still a little unsure but seeing one on the dyno doing 6 back to back runs successfully would swing it.

20,000 euros fitted, or 30,000 euros with 460 kit as well.

One installation of gearbox so far, but 10 of the 460 kits installed and 60+ of the 430 kits so these power increase kits at least seem to be robust upgrades 

I'm hopefully going 460 in the summer and I am sorely tempted to do the box at the same time..

What is that thing based on? It has to be a racing gearbox. Rated at 900 nm!!!  What are the cogs made of? Titanium!

The cogs are made of an unobtanium-krypton alloy.
