Real easy for me, I just pay somebody else to do it!  lol

I think it really is labour intensive, and turns out best if the people doing the wrapping already have lots of experience.   Long flat stretches are easier, but complex compound curves take lots of work.

I have seen it in the flesh, so to speak, and it looks much sharper and clean than the pictures show.

I'm not sure if I have updates or not!   It most definitely has been frustrating as to how slow this has progressed.   I am currently avoiding the last of a Canadian winter by being on vacation in the South Pacific - ya, a nice long cruise through French Polynesia .....

But I was told that all the body parts are done being wrapped in red chrome, and are done being re-wrapped in Clearpex for stone protection.   When I left on vacation, the final installation of all the parts was to have been underway.  I will send an email asking for updates and pictures.   Stay tuned!

Look forward to the finished photos John,  Yes your winters are mighty cold, always remember freezing on the prarie  in winter and roasting in the summer !  Not much of a happy medium lol.    Enjoy the rest of your cruise

Thank you sir!  It is bloody hot here, even for the locals.  And I'm loving it!

ZR says he hopes to be done by the end of the week.  I will still be on vacation, but hope to have more pictures then.  ?

That's a stunning colour and looks really good! Very nice indeed.

Thanks Gav - I am very happy with how it has turned out!

I have not driven it, nor had it dyno'd - but it does have Komo-Tec's 460-hp upgrade.   My car is the IPS, so it won't develop full horsepower, but it will be fun to drive!

And just in case you were wondering, my license plate refers to my other toy:

Very jealous, grew up round flying and have a soft spot for pitts after a few hours in an ex rothmans s2a (g-bady) as a kid. The perfect combination, Gte and pitts!

I think the car looks great.
If it was my car (of course it isnt so just sharing opinion) I would have Black Lotus lettering on the back to tie in with all the other black bits, and I wouldnt put the GTE stickers on the side, and I also would lose the sun strip (I had one of these on my Exige for a while) and seemed abit "common" after a while.

I am really impressed with how its all come together, I like the tyre writing also, well the Michelin bit anyway ;) I look forward to a video of the first drive.

I love it. Love the sunstrip and why not have the GTE stickers on the side?  It's your car so do what you want and what makes you happy. Great journey and you've arrived at a great destination. Very very nice.

That my friend is a real head turner! You should be incredibly happy. Hopefully all goes well with the test drive.

I saw a chrome purple one on YouTube and I must admit I'm lovig the chrome on the GTE versions or Lookalike GTE.

What kind of ball park cost wise are you into all of this? I'm guessing it cost a fair bit.

Thank you for the kind words.  I expect it will be a head turner, and a good opportunity to promote Lotus.
