WHOBBE! Wilts/Hants/Oxon/Berks/Belgium Esprit Meet Sat 23rd July 2016

Once more dear fellow Esprit pilots (and any other Lotus model owners most welcome) we are holding another Wilts/Hants/Oxon/Berks/Belgium (Filip?) get together at Hoffmans of Henley in conjunction with their Summer Car Day and an official Lotus Evora 400 launch bash. Plus of course the very many classic and performance cars viewable in their showroom and workshops. Pat promises to wheel the company barbecue out as well, although of course your starter for the morning will probably come in the form of an amazing bacon bap from the burger van around the corner

Sod's law! I didn't have my car for the March 5th meet, but had a great time there chatting and looking at all the cars.

Now I have my car, I'm not sure if I can get there until quite late.

Alan, is there a time limit, or are they open until midday or later?

They will be open all day, it's an official Evora 400 event as well. I will probably stay until around 1pm/2pm as there is a promise of a lunchtime barbecue

Well we've got the weather on side this week? Hopefully it lasts for the weekend!

First of all an apology (donning fireproof jacket here..) THERE WILL BE NO BBQ! Our man here with said BBQ is on Holiday, something I have only today been made aware of. Believe me when I say I am more disappointed than you are. Humblest apologies. Of course, the rather excellent bacon/sausage/egg roll van on our road will be open.

Anyone who wishes to drive an Evora is more than welcome, however I do have people already booked in so please contact me (01491 848800) before the day to make sure we have space.

As with previous meets - ALL lotus are welcome, and I'll try my best to wander around for the day saying hello to as many people as possible.
