Summer is apparently just around the corner.... which means we will be looking forward to welcoming the Lotus community to our open event on Saturday the 7th of April here at Stratton Lotus in Norfolk. The event will run from 10am -3pm and we have lots planned to keep you entertained with various demonstrations and special offers but more importantly some really nice Cake and butchers quality Burgers! 

We are still awaiting confirmation from a few suppliers and partners but we have the following confirmed for the event:

Virtual Reality Gran Tourismo Challenge can you set the fastest lap? Prize for the winner

Supagard Ceramic Paint Protection demonstration.

CAKE AND COFFEE STAND! All proceeds got to East Anglian Air Ambulance

BIG 1/2 Pound Butcher's Burger served with freshly baked burger baps from our local bakery

Live Music (Awaiting Confirmation)

Stratton Motorsport "Our racing division" located in Tharston 1.5 miles away will be open to the public, THIS IS WHERE ALL VISITING CARS WILL BE PARKED AS PARKING IN STRATTON IS AT A PREMIUM  WE WILL BE RUNNING SHUTTLES TO BOTH SITES EVERY 15-20 MINS  

Car supplied by Classic Team Lotus (Awaiting Confirmation)

The ACTUAL Vauxhall Top Gear Star In a reasonably priced car from the last series of Top Gear will be in the showroom for photo opportunities for charity kindly supplied by Tim Pitt.

Various Stratton Motorsport cars will be on display including our new F3 Car GT4 Cars and our Large Racing hospitality unit for all to see inside.

We will be joined at the Event by His Royal Highness Andy Betts of the Lotus Forums, JayEMM and a special guest TBC

And we will be also joined by the Lotus Driving Academy who will be bringing 2 cars along and to discuss their exciting driving experiences available at the factory located just 8 miles down the road at Lotus HQ

We will have some special offers on all new cars including 3 years free servicing on any car ordered over the weekend and our star car which is our stunning Lotus Evora Sport 410 will be our event special promotion more details TBC

This event has gathered a little more traction than anticipated which is good to hear! All parking will be at Tharston which is 1.5 miles away so plenty of parking there.  :-)

We have since confirmed a Duo booked for music

Chats brook vehicle finance will be  here on the day to discuss funding options on our beautiful Lotus Esprit 

The Lotus Type 33 is now going to be a very early Lotus Europa in JPS colours kindly offered up by @Stuart Monument

We will have our New Stock Exige 430 which will be delivered for the event.

We are waiting on confirmation from Group Lotus with respect to providing a Lotus Evora GT 430 for the event

Looking forward to seeing behind the scenes. It sounds like it's going to be a good day with all that's planned.

Looks like we will be in the daily as the weekend service of the Elise revealed a leaking oil pump and we are waiting on parts.

The 10 hour round trip meant I never even tried to get there but going to pop in next week to have a look at their gt's whilst I'm at the factory. ☺
