Help- coolant in vacuum line

Recommended Posts

I replaced my fuel pressure regulator and now I noticed I have coolant flowing through my vacuum line, I believe going to the map sensor?!

It’s the vacuum line on the front of the charge air cooler in front of the two coolant lines.

did I hook up the coolant lines wrong??

Yes, that's the bleed hose for the chargecooler, to get airbubbles from the chargecooler to the expansion tank. If you get a good flow of coolant, this means there is little or no air left. So you did a good job bleeding the system. 😉

I have made many mistakes in my life. Buying a multiple Lotus is not one of them.
