Funnily enough nicked the missus’s SLK for 2 different trips around highlands a few years back. Great cars and tempted to pick up a diesel  version for circa £17k as daily driver

It’s not low-rent on the inside and good enough for Aston Martin to use there tech so why not Lotus and like I said Geely the biggest share holder in the company, for me make it happen what we have at the moment is a bit of a joke, still using a ford transit key and you can not even have a Dab radio, not good in this day and age or come to it not good enough 10 years ago.

Don't knock the Ford transit key when all these high end motors with keyless entry are getting stolen at will. I'll keep the key thanks .

Speaking to BMW re a potential new daily driver I asked re keyless entry issue at the moment re thefts.  They have now changed key fob so it powers off if it senses no movement for a period of time.  Seems a simple fix.

They can still wait for you to get out of your car and prevent it from locking while you go wherever you are going.

They can wait with a knife. I feel comfortable it’s at least a step in the right direction .

That said I would prefer old school keys to prevent predicament we find ourselves in.

How has it been modified?

Looking at that picture it is Fugly at the front. Maybe just the angle of the picture but I wouldn't, not even with Barry's!

Read an articles about Gordon Murray talking about his new supercar in which he said was going to benchmark the ride/handling compromise on the Alpine.  Before it came out, the Evora was his standard to aim at, he said.

More than happy with the old standard, fun fact he just bought a TC Europa and speaks very highly of it. He also thinks the new A110 is big....

Sadly the A110 is now not sold in Australia, as some numpty bureaucrat enforced the side impact intrusion bar regulation as of NOV 2021, 3 years ahead of Europe, and we only got 89 cars across all models.

As such the asking price second hand is now way over the retail price 😡
