RC Injectors

I'm planning to replace my old Injectors with RC Injectors.

Are they a straight swap or are modifications needed as their dimensions are slightly different than the original ones. (Lengthwise)

Oops, my mistake, I replaced mine with five-o injectors. Still working fine.

They are a straight swap, though they are a little short. SO make sure you clip them in the top slot on the injector.

The spry pattern is different, but I've only heard good reviews.

So that means using the O-ring Groove?

Price wise there is almost no difference between the five-o injectors and the RC Engineering ones nowadays.

The Five-O primary ones (E5ZE replacements) are now 380 cc/min instead of 370 cc/min and 2.7 Ohm. Both values are a little too high for my liking.

yeah some people have had problems with the newer Five-O green and black injectors in the Esprit...

Not the o-ring groove, the slot in the plastic under the o-ring for the rail clips.

Use the top-most slot on the fuel injector for these clips

Slots seen here in the yellow, just under the blue o-rings. for example

Some of the Bosch ones have double slots, the RC ones only have a single slot for the clip, thats why the question of using the o-ring groove

I send RC Engineering an email for dimensional information, I got some of the dimensions but not the slot ones. so requested them also.

the RC units fit just as Travis indicates.  No drama, 

I converted to sequential injection and COP using five-0 black ops injectors and AEM Infinity ECU.  The values I listed for five-0 are for the black ops 840cc/min injectors from that project.  I ditched the secondary injectors.  I measured and sketched everything to ensure the black ops would fit well.

the sketch also includes the rail and intake injector seat dimensions as well as the distance between them (the top part of the sketch)

(I have 6 RC injectors that only have 2000 miles on them for cheap if you want them as a result of the ECU conversion)

Just had them out and the bodies are black with green tops. Don't recall what cc, sorry.

I should add these are only for the GMP4 Delco electronic injected cars.

Have you had it on a dyno before and after? and is the mixture correct; not lean or rich?
