  1. Ah! So now I know how to build a fake replica. One gold corgi Esprit coming right up!
  2. My short video on the event. Might give you a small taste of what it was like. The Little Lotus Goes to East Carleton Manor https://youtu.be/CvSEEzq5WZA
  3. It was a very special day. In many ways a bit of a last chance to meet many of the key players in Lotus history. All ready to have a friendly chat with anyone, like equal guests at a private wedding party. Amazing!
  4. Was cool to park next to the car and have a short chat on Sunday. I liked the front bonnet release in the door jam! NCS1s.jp2
  5. TR8 side view for you. …and of course this being the USA, a rather small pickup truck as well 😬
  6. Yes I am out here for Car Week like most years. Sadly I won’t be at the Quail to see the Emira. I will certainly post anything interesting I might come across though!
  7. Some more vintage motors on show for Monterey Car Week. Europa’s on show and the usual 66 Elan… though I didn’t post a snap of the Elan as it was the same from previous years. Sadly I won’t be at the Quail for the Lotus Emira launch.
  8. Some more cars from Car Week today… USA Spec Elise in the mix.
  9. As I try to do every year, here are some of the rare/exotic/interesting cars that show up at americas premiere historic car event. Happy to say the first rare car I come across on day one is a Lotus Evora USA spec. I’ll update as the week goes…
  10. She lives inside a single car garage of course! I've never understood why anyone would park a valuable car outside long term. I've always thought that if you can't bother to protect it, you shouldn't own it. I used to live in an expensive bit central London until recently, and would see Bentleys, Rolls, Ferrari, Astons and other new rare and VERY expensive cars that just lived outside on the street. Door dings, scrapes, bird crap, snow, ice on them all the time. Treating their cars like a decade old Mondeo. I moved out to the edge of London just so I could afford to rent a flat with a garage so I could get my little Elise. I would never have left her out on the road overnight.

  12. Its marmite I know, but still my favourite cockpit of any car! Esprit S1. (note: not my car or photos)
  13. 1968 Plymouth Barracuda 1983 VW Scirroco 1989 Jeep Wrangler 2000 Lotus Elise
  14. Elise wins the race. I expected nothing less. 🏁
