  1. Thanks @Whitey and @EGTE

So did the Sport 410 have a Carbon bumper compared to teh GT410 Sport ?

When looking at the specs i also saw they revised the aerodynamics from 420 Sport to GT410 Sport, increasing the downforce from 64Kg to 96Kg, at max speed.

  2. I thought I realised the differences but now I am not sure. Can someone who is knowledgeable enlighten me as to the differences between the following Evoras please:

    • 410 Sport
    • GT410 Sport
    • GT410

Also, other than the above, are there any other 410 models ?

  3. I am thinking of changing to an Evora. It will mainly be used for road trips covering motorways, A roads and B roads. The purpose of the motorways and A roads is mainly to get to a destination where B road drives can take place.

I am tempted by the Evora 400 and GT 410 (non sport). I think the GT410 Sport may be more track focussed and the suspension not as compliant for British roads.

The GT410 non sport seems rare. A GT410 Sport is practically the same price as an Emira which makes me think, why not a used Emira with the balance of the manufacturer's warranty?

At this point, it is hard to tell where Emira prices will go. There definitely is a lot more for sale than Evoras. Is the Emira likely to depreciate more than the GT410 where the GT410 becomes a more expensive car than an Emira ?

The Emira is a beautiful car and with Touring suspension, I suspect is more like a 400 or GT410 non sport.

    Thoughts ?

  4. I think I will be leaving this country at some point. It has drastically changed for the worse over the years.

My eldest son graduated university in September and now has a job in Greece. Apparently, all the best jobs in the fields of finance and commodities have moved abroad since Brexit. The new hubs seem to be Amsterdam, Paris and Geneva. Most of the the big firms were recruiting in the UK for graduate roles in those cities.

He is 5 months into the job and he says he is the happiest he has ever been. He loves the job but also the weather and lifestyle. Even in January, when cold, the sun is always out and you can still sit by the sea with a warm coat and have a coffee. This weekend he is going to the beach.  He says he never wants to come back to the UK!

I will wait to see what happens to the younger son and may follow them.

  5. I owned 2 NA (Mk 1 with pop up lights) in the past.

One was a lovely limited edition 1.8 R Limited in a dark metallic blue and the other was a modded 1.6 track mule. Both amazing and cheap to run. I could get a set of 4 Toyo Proxes for the track car for just over £100 !
