Is it.....?😪 Surprised as Type 131 would likely look fantastic in it, as by all accounts it’s looking like it could be a simplified Evija which looks great in Red. But having said that could Type 131 be available in Atomic Red....as pictured? Yes please 😎 If not it might be for the best as far I'm personally concerned, as I don’t think my future funds can stretch to the new car......having just bought an S1 Elise to add to the stable!😂

Moving forward I don’t think it’s unrealistic to expect to see little to no depreciation (unless you do galactic miles or neglect your new toy! Both unlikely!) - you might in fact just be buying at the time prices will start to appreciate. And that’s not me dreaming, you only need to look at how quickly the dealers are selling stock right now after announcing it was stopping the production of the current range. If I were you I’d get one bought now because once there’s next to no stock to choose from (and it will happen!).....it’s then a sellers market! Best of luck with the decison making - you’ve picked a fantastic time to be part of Lotus👍😎

Have to agree. Mine was in for the annual service and Davy looked after the car and was thorough throughout. Ross took care of me and Laura was her usual cheerful, helpful, chatty self. Excellent service and I personally wish them all the very best of luck in this new era of Lotus. Laura had sold 16 Lotus this month incidentally! Good times are here to stay for Lotus. Bring it on. I enjoyed myself that much and was so pumped up by where Lotus are heading......I came home, started looking at Elise S1’s and bought one this morning!😳 It made a relatively inexpensive service........quite expensive for me in the end!😂😎

Looks to be a possible reshell to me? Hopefully someone will confirm at some point soon, what work was carried out. I remember it when it sold last time around and all the work seemingly had just been completed - I’m sure it was sold by a retailer at the time and not an individual. I also hope the owner, if he comes on here.....takes all the above in his/her stride🤞They’ve still got a beautiful looking piece of British automotive history right there👍

I made the exact same move.......although I had an Evora in between for a few weeks to make it happen....long story!😂 My Z4M was a roadster (pictured below), and is the best car I’ve ever owned......apart from the Exige. The Exige is much rawer as you say and every journey is an even bigger event than the Z4M, which was fantastic fun too. I used to love taking the roadster out and would buy it back tomorrow, but the drive in the Exige is better still😎 I look forward to seeing the photos when you pick the car up. Enjoy and welcome - they’re a great bunch here and that’s probably the biggest difference between the 2 marques - Lotus is an institution, whereas BMW are really just another Manufacturer😉 Here’s my Exige👍
