Taken on return from the TLF Christmas dinner last night - Christmas tree lights had been turned off compared to my Esprit picture

Looking at my picture again (taken 7/12/2019) - it really is not that shiny, and never has been, and the wheels are painted not polished. Taken with my 2018 Sony phone with no filters.

He's sound like a bit of a knob, and I'm not sure how you can call a 40 second clip a review. He didn't like the Esprit either - didn't enjoy driving it, feels bit unstable, so low down, horrible noise. Not sure he is TVR Chimera - not much room inside, I won't bother starting it up, it is loud and unpleasant. Corvette Stingray - nice to look at, feels unstable, dated. Porsche Spider 718 - hard to drive Rover P5B - Nice "little" old car.

I rented a Toyota Rav4 in Nairobi in August that had tinted front windows - why, just why, that was so dangerous, I could hardly see out, especially at night, and I had to open the window to do so - which is not what you should be doing in Nairobi at night - or anytime to be honest.

They outsourced all the new development to India and then got rid of two of us who had been there the shortest time - less than 2 years. Getting a nice payoff this month - which I'm surprised they offered, Thing is there is now only one person remaining (in the UK) to support their only existing product. Do I give a shit - nope, just glad to be out of it as it was the worst software I've come across in 40+ years, I'm doing training from now until Easter to bring my tech knowledge up to date, as all the new stuff has bypassed me - which has stopped me passing the 2-3 interviews I've had. Got a couple of African trips lined up as well, plus needing to visit the USA and some universities with my daughter - so timing is quite good. Plus there's a lot of international hockey to watch over the next few months as well.

I read that your car had that - seems that more PHEVs do. We have a MY72 hybrid Niro - wish it had a bigger battery.

But only if the engine charges the batteries - so not really a PHEV but a self-charging hybrid with a large battery.

Looking at their website it looks like it's their Halo car - £24k above the next car - which is a 22 plate LR Defender. Not really done very many miles in the last 5 years. New rear suspension in Aug 2023. £32k spent by the last owner.

I paid £1.98 for premium a month & a half ago - but it was at the Clacket Lane services, and I just put enough in to get me home. Went all the way round the M25 to the west as there was a 2hr queue at the tunnel.

@C8RKH YouTube ads - mine have gone away again now 🎉 after I installed the uBlock Origin Extension on both Edge & Firefox. I also have AdBlock running with YouTube allowed on Edge. They were every 5 minutes in a 1 & 1/2 hour documentary, was driving me mad.
