It looks like the propulsion tech for the Lotus SUV is ready and the vehicle will not lack power (400+ bhp) and torque (600+nm)

The targeted 500km WLTP with fast charging will put most prospective buyers willing to do the odd long distance trip at ease.

The car is pretty much the market ready version of the Volvo 40.2 prototype shown 3 years ago... Volvo Group has been on a roll taking all their designs from the drawing and rendering boards to hard metal. the interior looks very slick, with Google Android based UI that looks very polished... I think it will be a doodle to customize it for each brand of the Geely group.

As for the Polestar 2 it looks ok, I'm not a fan of the high riding fastback look but I guess with the battery located down low  it makes it easy to package everything. The interior is finally getting a slightly different treatment from the Volvo interiors which is a step in the right direction I think.

I think one of the press people has left his TV leaning on the dash.

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

Opinions are like armpits. Everyone has them, some just stink more than others.

The drivetrain is very interesting, for sure, and perhaps not just for the upcoming SUV...

As for the Polestar 2, I am the only one that thinks the interior looks overly dark and grim? It doesn't so much scream 'innovative' and 'high-tech' as it does 'undertaker' or 'crypt'!  🦇 🦇

Sadly probably a wee bit further away than they are stating currently.

should be picking up the wife’s new electric Kona next week. Hyundai have run into massive issues making enough batteries to satisfy demand - this is the exact reason why Musk invested so much in battery manufacturing.

Im highly sceptical of any ev press releases frankly - let’s see what gets released and when
