Blessed with the competence to be a slave to the incapable.

Currently without a Lotus, Evora 400 Hethel Edition in Racing Green with Red leather and 2010 Evora N/A in Laser Blue and 1983 Lotus Excel LC Narrow body in Ice Blue all sadly gone.

I hate that bloody programme and the others like it!  Bah humbug an' all that. But great to see the Evora getting coverage. I guess every cloud....

It’s the only programme that my daughter will watch with us every week, it’s the only reality TV I’ll watch, but will admit to enjoying it :getmecoat:

Same. I deliberately make a point of not watch anything that includes the word singing/dancing/jungle/get your knob out on an island/talent/celebrity type tv Bollox.

Put a Lotus In there though.... Hmmm... who says I couldn’t be bought. 🤔

My wife is addicted to Strictly and although it took me a few years, I will admit to enjoying it myself now, the only programme of that sort I will watch.

Mind you, the shine wore off somewhat a few years back when I discovered we would no longer be seeing Ola Jordan on there. Ola in a catsuit was something to behold and still got this old man excited!😍

Was good to see the Evora on there.

Strictly at it again. Not an AU plate so maybe not from the factory. It’s a 400 too so not new.

I think it's the GT410 press car HL66LCL by the looks of things; it's likely Lotus got hold of the reg as it reads "HetheL '66 Lotus Cars Limited" so not the usual Norfolk "AU" plate and is a nice touch I think. I lust after that car as I really like the Evora in fire red.

Did you mention Fire Red Evora's @EuropaSman? Only RHD Fire Red 410 Sport in the world. There is a LHD one that was shipped to Italy. As rare as the wisdom teeth in a Hen's mouth...

Perhaps it is @EuropaSman, but it’s got the 400 boot spoiler and glass, no Lear shot of the front of it, but when it pulled up there was a clear shot of the boot. I thought the GT410s all had the ducktail?

edit. Found a shot of the rear on tinternet and it has the glass boot and 400 spoiler. That’s why I thought it was a 400.

Yes, not all GT410s have the ducktail. The one on Strictly is a "Phil's spec" GT410 and not a GT410 Sport, so it has a conventional tailgate/spoiler & body colour roof, along with a softer suspension. Interestingly, the press car is devoid of the "shark fin" decals ahead of the rear wheels, so makes it look even more like a 400 without a black pack, so I can see why you thought it was an older model Evora.

If I had the money, I'd have one in that colour to go with my blue S1 Launch Edition. 😍

@C8RKH yes I did mention Fire Red 😀. Your car is sheer automotive pornography!

Cost saving. As @EuropaSman says Colin the GT410 (not to be confused with the GT410 Sport of course!) does not come with the "black pack" and has the 400 rear hatch with the glass and the three piece spoiler.  I think it was called progress. 🙃

Heaven forbid you can actually see out of the back of a car. I love my (heavy) rear window :P
