Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a man of stealth and haste.

I am now into my fourth year of S1 NA Evora ownership. My God, what brilliant cars these are. I have only done 5K miles in this time, ( know I should do better and that will change) I have had no problems whatsoever. Considering the alternatives were an XKR or DB7, I think I chose wisely.

I must confess to having lurked on here for too long, so a big UP to all you TLF warriors!

Congrats and welcome. I have to admit to a fondness for the aluminium XKR fantastic GT but the Evora is the better sports car for sure.

Welcome Redwing.

Wow ... 5k miles in 4 years ... how can you possibly resist the temptation to drive it??

Figures like those must take some beating .... has it been SORN'd for a lot of that time?

Welcome chap - how on earth can you resist not driving it.

This morning you must nip to the garage - pull off the covers and take that car out for a blast. Roads are damp - the Evora is simply sublime in the wet

Only here once

Welcome too!

I'm also in Shropshire and wonder of I've seen you out but that seems unlikely!!!

Its a cool fine day in Shropshire this morning. The run to Lake Vyrnwy / Bala is brilliant in the morning - V few cars over the Berwyns

Evora NA is simply one of the very best Lotus and frankly sports cars of all time. I think I did 5000 miles in 4 months.....14,000 now in 19 months.

I hope you will jump in yours more often but wonderful that you enjoy it as you like.

Thanks to you all for your comments.

I keep the beast taxed and insured all year round. I believe a piece of engineering needs regular use. I have  a house on the Welsh coast  and that is where  most of the mileage goes. However, this year, due to circumstances, I have not  been able to visit as often as I would have liked. As some of you have pointed out, living in the birthplace of global warming, I have access to many roads that cry out for spirited driving, and I assure you I do not leave them disappointed.

Keep on keeping on.

Welcome to TLF. :welcome:

You could always post some photos of your car as well. Those won't go astray on here either. :)
