Ok - so this is one of the niggles on the car

all the tyres are reporting 00 on the dash. I’ve extensive paperwork that lists recoding a few times - and the 4 sensors were replaced a little while ago.

so the big question is - how can you recode these. Tried on a mates odb unit and it doesn’t have lotus listed on that unit.

Sensors / receivers were changed in 2016/2017 to a Alligator type. My Altel TPMS tool will not read these later ones. But it is supposed to be able to read the earlier ones and link to the car's OBD port. (My previous Evora S did not have TPMS any way.)

I have seen ads on ebay etc that say the have sensors that suit all Evora models that cant be true.

As Bibs says if the receipt has any part numbers on, was re-programming done by a Lotus specialist.

May be the receiver unit is not working.

recoded tpms on 16/03/2019

this was all done at a small independent local to the PO

Seems a bit of a coincidence for all 4 to go flat at the same time.

I believe the earlier cars used a Saab part 13227143. Which is on ebay and the ad says is compatible with the lotus original, eg https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185456847233

I do not know if these need programming to the car, I thought I read somewhere that the car should just re-learn them automatically. I know my evora did pick up its new sensor ids (genuine lotus as no after market ones were available.) after half a mile or so, when I put a spare set on.

I have just fitted another set of wheels from another Evora and pressure set at 32psi and travelled over 5miles at 70mph before the TPM,s started to work, so the tyre temperature must be increased before they work.

If it is of any help, I looked into this when I bought a second set of wheels and I found that Autel MX sensors  (315MHZ & 433MHz) work fine and simply re-programmed using the Autel MAXI TPMS Pad.  All available on eBay.

Went into Hendy Exeter this am, they let me try it on the blue Evora S IPS, it had a problem reading the left front, but below is the summary. Did not connect it to the cars OBD  port, this device reads from the sensor in each tyre. It may be that the car needed to be used a bit, sometimes doing the test again has woken the sensor up.

Note the date range below is wrong as it will work up to the change  in sensors in the 4xx.  A range of temps from a car sat in the showroom for several days.
