@C8RKHIt's electrostatic not electromagnetic. Just like when you rub a balloon on your hair the balloon becomes "sticky" and you can stick it to the ceiling.

They probably get a hairy guy to rub himself up and down your new car so the paint mist sticks to it.

Here's a thought. Tell Lotus that you want your Emira unpainted and an appropriate cost reduction for Lotus not having to bother with that part of the build.

And then use the money for a full wrap in whatever colour you want.
