That does sound a lot better than the news from your previous few days. But there is a long recovery road ahead. A few ups and downs but hopefully more up days than others,

Just noticed that the SELOC Isle of Man trip is finally back on for this year, 1st week in August.

Booked my place, and believe there are still 2 places left for what is a fantastic, fun, social trip on some of the best driving roads in the UK. Some members on here booked too ( @Colin P and @CocoPops for instance), so get in quick if you fancy it.  Boat leaves Liverpool early Friday morning, back Tuesday afternoon.  Can't wait to catch up with everyone from past trips, and meet some new owners too.

Usually some nice activities lined up (previous have included a track session, go-karting, quad biking in the forest, etc) and a good get together each evening over a nice meal. Plenty of time to do your own thing and explore the beautiful roads, scenery and beaches of the Island. It really is a stunning place if you haven't been.

God doesn't want me, and the Devil isn't finished with me yet.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

Yep, can’t wait! Really looking forward to it.

I’ve got family on the island too.

Me too despite not having a Lotus this year, but seeing as I organised it for about 5 years I have special dispensation 😁

Blessed with the competence to be a slave to the incapable.

Currently without a Lotus, Evora 400 Hethel Edition in Racing Green with Red leather and 2010 Evora N/A in Laser Blue and 1983 Lotus Excel LC Narrow body in Ice Blue all sadly gone.

Brilliant. That means my Evora cover will fit the Coxster GTS. Happy days....

As an aside, been looking at a Coxster as a DD for work. Given it's just a skip with a decent paint job and wheels I wouldn't have to worry re parking door dings etc.

Was going to go Auto, instead of manual as a DD.

Any of the Porsche fan boys got any tips re engine to choose based on reliability, drive characteristics etc? Do I go for the 2.0 or 2.5 engine and do you really need the PASM suspension extra?

Coxster S 3.2L. Don't fanny about with a 2L. You'll regret it

Or go for the 2.7L minimum
