Help, I can't post an image or video to the forum!

I just uploaded some more pics and it appears they are being stored at full size now. Oh well, one for the X-Files I guess...

is there a way to delete attached files from "my attachments" menu ? I would like to reduce the size of current posted images in order to post others files.

Bug Report: The system doesn't appear to let you delete attachments from the "my attachments" menu.

You can see the attachment(s); you can display the attachment(s); you can expand the attachment(s) to full size - but you can't (apparently) delete any of them!

Apparently not in iOS...?  Have tried both Safari and Firefox browsers.

I've no idea what @geartox is using.

Why are you deleting them anyway, you're only using 4% of your attachment allowance?

Nope, still not visible.

Just looking around the interface - found the post above from gearbox - went looking and confirmed the problem.

Don't fret, I'm not actually looking to delete recent contributions to the forum.  Conversation is just getting interesting :-)

I'm using chrome. And no, I don't have a dustbin icon. I will check from  firefox.

Aha!  I see dustbin icons - but I've stopped short of testing the ability to delete :-)

Can't upload pics from Photobucket anymore. Am doing exactly the same thing I have for the last year, but now for the last three days box turns red when I try to "Insert Image from URL" such as this:

Freemason - not sure what method you've used previously, but when in Photobucket, just click the "IMG" address line (the bottom one) to copy it.

Then paste that into your post on here and it'll drop the image.

for example, if I just hit "paste" here....

I was using 'direct' on photobucket and Insert other media on the site. Been doing this for about a year now with no problems. I think there's a bug on the site. When I try to do this now the whole thing crashes and sends me back to page one of my resto thread.

 

Im having trouble posting anything at all. Anyone else  having problems?  Can't post pics at all.

I tried your link and it went back to page 1 - very weird. It does this in IE and Firefox, and it does it for other images from your photobucket - same with images from mine as well.

I stopped using photobucket a while ago as I was getting fed up of having to upload and then paste image from URL (as the direct paste from the photobucket url stopped fairly soon after the 2nd or 3rd upgrade).

I now take the have all my images in Microsoft OneDrive and paste the links via the URL button from there - be warned though it doesn't like huge images from OneDrive though

Hopefully they can fix it soon and I can keep my resto thread updated.

This issue is specific to photobucket and we're still looking into it. Perhaps try a different image host for now?

Bibs - just in case it is of use - I tried to post a Photobucket image on the Disco3.co.uk forum site last night - and it didn't work  - which was of course very unusual.

i did check I could post photobucket pics on another forum today and it was fine - so there is something weird going on with Photobucket.

It's not just posting new pics that is the problem. Every pic I've ever posted with Photobucket on this forum has also disappeared off my previous posts, including most of the pics on my resto thread.

This is a problem with photobucket no longer communicating with external servers, as alluded to above. As I also mentioned, the software developers are looking into a workaround for this but since it's what photobucket do, I'd imagine their on the case too. If your images are still on pb, then once this is resolved they'll all reappear, as if by magic.
