That's not actually a valid plate in the UK. You have to be a bit more inventive and there is a whole industry selling the rights to display certain numbers. (And some people frown on them)

This is about as close as you can get in the UK

Blessed with the competence to be a slave to the incapable.

Currently without a Lotus, Evora 400 Hethel Edition in Racing Green with Red leather and 2010 Evora N/A in Laser Blue and 1983 Lotus Excel LC Narrow body in Ice Blue all sadly gone.

That my friend, is beautiful just the way it is and leave the wheels alone. That is Danni Minogue  to me - small and perfectly formed. Congratulations on a real beauty of a car.

God doesn't want me, and the Devil isn't finished with me yet.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

Just for you

I've used these over the winter but still prefer the original ones which will go back on shortly

Get back to Scotland. What's this? Fiancee still out on her photoshoot? Does that mean get the car out and go for an enthusiastic drive up that mad twisty road she hates as it's always a bit wild. Yes sir! Now, how do I say the car got this dirty while I was allegedly getting the shopping in with the other car?

Say you saw the car and sneezed.

The one mad thing I am finding is that with many of the cars I have looked at (R8, Gallardo, Ferrari) the Lotus is more practical. Never in my life did I think I would use the word "practical" when coming up with plus points for a Lotus. Even the proper boot is not much smaller than some "GT" cars (Eg Aston)

Great pic, hope she didn't scratch your beloved ;)

I don't know why exactly but for some reason the car looks really tall in that picture. I must be getting used to black pack cars. Looks like a super day for it though!

If you have the choice between a Stairway to Heaven and a Highway to Hell don't forget the Nomex®!

Captain,  Lotus Airways. We fly lower!

Congratulations Steve. I showed my fiancée the photo last night as a bit of a hint for our wedding next year. No dice. :ouch::D

Thanks Colin - that is not me in the picture - would be very odd marrying my daughter lol!  And as I was paying for it, she didn't have much choice but to include the car in a couple of photos  :)

@TBD unfortunately I'm even more attached to her than the car, so she stays.

@Whitey Ha! The way you wrote the post I just assumed! My other half has asked if I'll be rolling up to the wedding in mine, so it's not totally out of the day, she just doesn't want to be posing on it!

Lover of everything Lotus Cars and proud owner of production Evora No.75 (2nd UK customer specced car by VIN). Originally from the Far East....of Anglia, I read black box data for a living so that could explain a lot!
