I bought my baby in September 1997 and just realised I have now been her custodian for 18 years! This is my favourite pic of her not long after I got her and before the rejuvenation of a neglected and bodged beauty. And it was taken way before digital cameras were on the radar.

Here's to many more years together!

Thanks mate! I really didn't like her in red when I bought her but looking back at that picture I'm coming round. Dilema, back to red or keep her Essex-tastic?

My favourite Esprit too, the S2 just looks devoid of flab,sharp, poised and ready for action. It seems to have the best "stance" of any Esprit too.

For once I prefer the washed out original photograph as it gives it some patina.

Here's a photo of my new purchase. Have been working on buying this car since June 2012 and now finally it's going to be mine at long long last. The hardest and longest deal I've ever done buying a car. As Sod's law would have it I buy my Esprit S4s and then the seller of the red Turbo only goes and tells me he's ready to let it go........oh well can't complain as I'm finally there. Should be up in Scotland in the next week or so. Has been off the road since 1993 with still some work to do to get it roadworthy and match fit but we will get there with the help of the boys at Craig Moncrieff Cars (ex-Murray Lotus).......can't wait!!!!???

Jesus H Christ the SE looks good with Monoblocs!

I agree. I think the Monobloc AWI's are a perfect fit for the SE lines, with no overcomplicated and intricate shapes. And they look super wide on the non-flared Arches.

Wish they would still be made today. I think a lot of people would buy them. I would get an extra set, and I know for certain a few others jsut here around Copenhagen, who would also buy a set each.
