So seat finally ready for spraying. Mamaged to put a bit of paint on it but i think the noise will piss of the neighbours

Colour starting to go on. Im thinking 12 coats should give it propper coverage

Well just the final cleaning on the pipeing and one seat done.

Well tried the seat back in for colour comparison. Should look good when i get the new black carpets and finish the leather and retrim the other parts black.

Looking good! A change of interior is always nice .

 

I'm in the middle changing the colour of some parts to black. I sympathise with all the cleaning and conditioning! I preferred the sponge method of applying the dye, I'm on 4 coats so far, now thinking about what level of gloss I want.

Well managed to get a bit of time to start taking the carpets out also began on the center console.

One thing is that you do not have to take the gear stick out to remove it just roll the gear leaver boot fown and you will see the elastic. Use a thin screw driver and you pull the elastic out and undo it and the boot will be wide enough to slide over the gear knob So the top of the console can be removed once the switches are disconnected

Is there any other black trim or just the gaiter with everything else white?

just the dash top , carpets door handles etc i'm just thinking there will be a lot of white leather and a black gear lever boot may break it up a bit

Well got the rest of the center console out now painting. Should have the carpets out this week and im looking at the interior painting complete in 2 weeks

Well center console painted. Just the back pocket and gearleaver gaitor to do managed to get half the carpets out so going well so far
