The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

Very nice, and the only one in that colour too. Enjoy your car.

150 mile in and beginning to think there is a link between the ignition switch and rain clouds, the second I turn it the heavens open :-). Never mind, it was built for driving and loving getting to know it.

Trevor.

I'll get around to it at some point.

Just had mine serviced at Murrays on Monday Richard, it wasn't a Bank Holiday up there.

They did an excellent job and sorted a few little niggles on the car too, looked like new when I picked it up.

But now needs cleaning again after the journey home :driving:

European trip sounds interesting are you visiting any tracks ?

Was going to say that sounds a long way to go for a service but I guess it mostly would be for you......

European trip will be mostly mountains, maybe the A1 Ring (though unlikely we'll be on it) & no doubt the B500 in one direction or the other!

Completed the 4000 Km round trip from Hamburg to Southern France last night. The car drove as it looks, a perfexct weapon to attack all roads, be it mountain passes, German Autobahns or village cruising.

And passing prestige unrivaled by anything (yes, even Audi and BMW-drivers pull over to let you pass).

I have no idea how many people took pictures of the car, but it must have been a few hundred alone when we were parked in Saint Mandrier (we had a great view on the car from the boat).

So many thumbs-up and nice conversations everywhere. It really seems like a Lotus always brings a positive association to peoples mind, from reminiscences to a drive in an Elan 40 years ago, praise for Jim Clark (or Kimi from the younger), to personal experiences in an Elise.

If you have the choice between a Stairway to Heaven and a Highway to Hell don't forget the Nomex®!

Captain,  Lotus Airways. We fly lower!

Was in MMC yesterday and looks like the black one there has found a new home with a deposit taken. Think that's them all gone now from the market. It did look stunning.
