I can go slightly better (or worse - not sure about this)

I've been sent on a course for today, tomorrow and Friday - was only told about this yesterday.

  • On arrival, sent for a full English breakfast, Lunch is a full canteen type lunch plus coffee & biccys twice a day. So that's tomorrow & Friday as well.
  • Christmas Dinner with Club Lotus tonight
  • Christmas Dinner with TLF Essex/Herts/Cambs, Thursday
  • Christmas Dinner with work on Friday

All this as a warm up for Saturday night :)

Took a double take at that picture Bibs as thought I was having a senior moment and looking in the mirror after a shower!

Al - that's not what you said when I got out the shower......  Oooops, sorry, we said that was our little secret!    Hahaha

FYI TLF will be paying for Mike Kimberley's meal and hotel accommodation as is only right for such a distinguished guest. If you'd like to contribute, either paypal (info@thelotusforums.com) or cash to me on the day is fine. :thumbup:

For everyone travelling a long way, thank you very much for making the effort, have a safe journey and I look forward to seeing you tomorrow evening, don't forget your xmas jumpers (standard dress code for a TLF party!) :)

Kim, Yasuo and I should be getting to the Premier Inn Leybourne about 3.30-4pm assuming their flight arrives on time.

As taxis are always an issue can each of you kindly indicate if you are staying at PInn Leybourne and if you need a taxi to and from the Nevill Bull please ?

 That way when we get to the hotel we can check the numbers on here then Kim, Yasuo and I can book enough taxis for those that say they will need one?

All systems are go for the LEGS contingent.  All boarding passes printed - Check.  All directions for getting lost printed. Check.  C U All there.  We should be in hotel by late afternoon as on a 14:05 flight out of Edinburgh.

Great evening, gutted we couldn't stay out later had to get back to Godalming to relieve the babysitter.

Lovely to meet some of you even though it was a tiny fraction of everyone there. Dave and Ann had some great stories to tell about their excel and v8, now I really want to drive down to Monaco for the classic GP in my SE. Malcolm and Geraldine, only got the chance to chat for a bit, very nice to meet you both.

Someone was doing a good job of trying to sell me and my wife a pink Evora, but another pair of lotus fanatics did a great job of convincing us to trade up one esprit to an Elise for my wife, our daughter is called Elise after all. For shame, I didn't catch your names!

yasuo, Tony, bibs, kim etc great to meet/see you :)

Cheers to bibs for organising!

When's the next drinks!? :wine: next time I won't be driving!
