As above, just done this with my 920 and it's gone from being pretty average to really quite good   1 question, after you have finished doing the 9 parametric EQ settings should you still leave the Media Expander OFF? I tried it with it on just to see what difference it makes - certainly boosts the volume, but not sure if the overall sound is better or worse. It seems a bit like hitting the Loudness button which you have on some amps - so any suggestions / recommendations from anyone who has done this setting procedure, or is it just down to personal taste. For those with the 920 Alpine, although the instructions don't relate directly to this model, you can still work through the settings pretty easily as the menu options are very similar, or at least fairly logical.

@Bibs is there anything similar available for the pioneer which had been used in the Evora in MY 2012 / 13? I have played around a little bit and recognized that a Setup that will work with the CD will not work with the Radio........

Just applied these to my INE-W920R and the instructions were very easy to transpose, from the factory it was configured for rear speakers and no subwoofer?!

This now sounds much better, thank you!

Thought I'd give this a try, amazingly when I went to set the subwoofer crossover, the level was set at -12dB, i.e. minimum! Made everything look like the pictures in the guide and standing still in my garage the sound system does sound better, but the real test will come tomorrow on the drive to work. Yet to implement JayEmm's additional subwoofer settings.

Sound still way too thin on bass and mid-bass, let alone sub-bass.

Guess there's only so much that can be done when your front speakers look like this:

I set my stereo as per the guide, and @JayEmm Sub changes.

Ive now saved this as "Lotus Evora 400" in the Alpine App for sound settings. So if you cba to manually do it, just search for the profile in the app and use that to set your stereo.

hope this helps,

Lee

I must be missing something. I've got your settings downloaded to my phone. The phone is connected by Bluetooth, but when I try to transfer the settings to the stereo the app says the phone is not connected to the unit. Any ideas?

Needs to be USB connected for settings transfer.
