It will come as a kit which Simon at raceshocks has developed with everything needed.  I'm going to install myself as it'll be really easy to run the wires before the clams go back on, then I'll take it to Simon to set up the geo and damper settings.

You have wires that run from each damper to a central control unit (I think I'll mount it behind or under the seats), then that has a wire that goes to the touch screen to change your settings.

Is the central control unit device with the accelerometer and the gyroscope? I understood that you get separate devices;  controller and the sensor (IMU sensor with accel and gyro). Sensor needs to be placed as close to the CoG (center of gravity) as possible. Is this why you are putting it behind the seats, or are you putting the sensor somewhere else?

I think the controller and sensor are the same box - needs to go in middle of car as you say.

Getting really close to the car coming home now (in parts!).  Had the front clam in the sun for the first time and the paint comes alive!  One of my favourite things is the front badge, painted on, all under the lacquer (no stickers!).

I ran that through PS's colourise neural filter to see what came out! It's worked out the sky is blue but I'm not sure how well it's done the rest. I'll keep the image here until the reveal and see how well it did!

Sills etc painted, Ken did Raptor paint inside the arches and under the sills which should help prevent chips in future.

Today I cut a hole in my new genuine OEM 430 Cup carbon intakes to fit a magnetic trickle charger connector.  Pleased I didn't f*** it up.

Later today I'm drilling holes in the rear clam to do the new numberplate lights (not through a numberplate holder obviously, that wouldn't look great)

I've tried a few of your photos on one of the online image colourisers, and they keep coming back as the same colour... but I cant decide what that colour is 🤣

So I have made pretty good progress on my car, the rear clam is on, and all went well. I'm really happy with the shut lines, they're better than they ever were with the old clams.

On the front clam and A-panel, I have started building it back up and am really happy with how it's looking, but I'm getting a few more custom parts made and to fit them I will have to remove the front clam again.  This will likely delay me a couple of weeks, but it gives me a chance to properly route wires through the cabin and tidy up the interior, plus get the rear end totally done and everything ready in preparation for the front clam being re fitted.

At the moment, the aim is to launch the car in mid-April, which I know feels a while away, but there is still a huge amount of work to be done to get it finished to the quality I require.

Also, please forgive the state of my garage, it's not easy working in such a small space!

If you are anything like me (but I suspect on this point you are not) you'd just make more mess in a bigger space. There's no way I'm sharing a pic of my garage at the moment (if ever). 😱

Oh and for the record, that is not a mess!

@GFWilliams Hi George, does the magnetic trickle charger connector supply charge to your battery? How does the connection work?

@lotus_exig3 - I ran a wire into the cabin, then back to the battery, through the boot. Quite easy to do when the clam was off.  Of course, it needs to be a fused connection on the positive.

Wheels fit absolutely perfectly!

Tractive damper loom arrives today, so I'll be installing that over the next few days. Not the easiest job to run wires from the front into the cabin, but I'm getting the hang of things now.

Yeah the colour I was getting was a grey/green colour

You may well be right, but I think George (being the photoshop genius that he is) would processed those photos in such a way that no possible clue is given.
