The usual 400 owner, owners giving it a hard time already, don't understand it, lotus pull out all the stops and produced what you can only say looks like a proper super car with fantastic specs  and yes know price point matters, lotus can do nothing right in some people's on here, give Lotus some credit  it's a amazing car, built on a tight budget.

Agree that it does look very nice but I'll be sticking with my 380 Cup order, looking forward to finding out the price though.

How do you mean?  As a 400 owner I'm trying to work out how I can wedge this into my life!  Looks awesome.  I even prefer the Sparco seats!

As someone once said (I have no idea who), if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it.

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

Opinions are like armpits. Everyone has them, some just stink more than others.

If that nose became the new 400 standard bumper it would look great, even if just colour and black rather than cf?

Does seem daft as I have posted every page from it here and onother sites but we still have an embargo lol really !

we have all the info bar the price, it's a lol moment !

Can Lotus do anything right !  what a press flop, nice car though (bar the daft price it will be) over and out.

Looks absolutely epic!  Totally love it and can't wait to see some other colours, red and orange would both look incredible as always on a Lotus.  At first i wasn't sure about the front end of the 400 but i totally love it now and get compliments and longing stares from people everywhere, it just looks so purposeful!  I think it's great they manage to keep changing up the front end every now and then, it keeps things interesting while always looking like a Lotus to those familiar with the brand, unlike many other sports car companies who tend to stick too closely to a very narrow range of designs.

Hats off to Lotus again, i'll be going to Bell and Colville to have a nosey around as soon as they've got one

Not a reference to you, wish I was a 400 owner but sadly can not afford one, so got no chance of a 430, there is 1 or 2 owners that just like to slate anything that Lotus do to improve the product

Where is a front numberplate going to go, without blocking most of the airflow to that radiator....

I really really hope Winace or someone starts fabricating replicas of this front section, it's a beauty!

I'm curious about those front wheel arch vents, I'm envisioning some TVR Sagaris style stones to windscreen scenarios. They could've made some bespoke wings instead of just getting the jigsaw out, surely? :)

Number plates sits under the lip of the front bumper (same as GTE). No issues with cooling.

How do companies like Winace get away with plagiarising other company's designs?

I would really like to know how much weight the carbon backed seats save (if any) compared to the normal ones.  Either way, its really really impressive that they manage that weight reduction compared to the 410, when the 410 saved 18kg just by using the racing seats. One thing I haven't figured out yet is whether the entire rear end is made of CF.  Look at the rear where the "Lotus" script is, and you can see CF weave there.  Its easier to notice on the red car:
