2 Elises on Hayling Island

Looked like they were together, traveling off the island today.

I was in the Esprit but didn't manage to wave in time!

Funny man  No, a legitimate trip out to visit a friend on Hayling. Very nice it was too!

Inspired by the discussion at the Christmas do I'm determined to get some more miles on it this year...

Yeah. There were about 20-30 of us at Beachlands cafe around 10am. Always a nice start to the year ?

Lived and worked on Hayling as a younger man in the late 80s life guarding at one of the Warners camps. Had bugger all money but a half share in a ski boat. Spent most of the summer skiing in Langston harbour or cruising my MG Metro up and down Southsea. 

No cash and not a care in the world. Good times ?

Wow, I'd have come down earlier in the Esprit if I'd known! Is that an exclusive local Elise do or open to all Loti? Sorry I didn't give you a wave in time!

Some of us are still doing it, only now I'm visiting my folks in Warners! My mate lives just behind Sinah Warren Warners ?

18 ft crusader with an 80 merc with power trim and tilt. Did the round Isle of White challenge with my mate skiing behind it. Had to link to pull ropes together because the swell was sooo big. Good times.

I worked at Mill Rythe.

It was the end point of a run down to Hayling Island from Ockham Common (A3/M25 jct). We do it every year on the first Sunday after New Year. I was actually a small turn out this year by the numbers we've had in the past. Not at all exclusive to Elises - we even welcome @fatwomble
