Colour spec the same? Despite the fact this colour combination was not available on the sports racer series the car was factory built to special order for a lotus chairman ??

That's a great looking car, white exterior with the venom red interior. Yummy! It's also a great price to.

I do believe Stu's car is white and black.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

I do believe that Stu's car is white with red seats. Which is why the other car stuck out so much.

There can't be many in that age/spec/colour (maybe 2?) which is why it is bizarre that they happen to be for sale at the same time.

Mine has the venom red interior as well. Have to admit I am surprised to see another for sale, especially at the same time! I don't recall seeing the same colour combo apart from mine so it's definitely rare.

Sorry Stu, thought you had the black interior. White with red is really really cool and to get two cars so similar for sale at the same time is bloody odd, but great for anyone wanting to buy.  One of the best colour combo's for an evora in my opinion so all of you who have been looking, now's the time to buy! ;)

2011 S @ £48k?!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lotus-Evora-S-GTE-spec-low-mileage-White-/122623732794

Yes, I know it's got a GTE Style bumper and wing, but a 2011 car for £48k? Dream or realistic?
Interestingly, the advert makes no mention of age, I had to go check the DVLA Tax/MOT checker with the reg.

Dream. I reckon that he thinks that a prospective purchaser will want to pay for his mods. Maybe in the US market but unlikely in the UK.

Yup, seems quite a lot over priced. Mods are a sunk cost by an owner. He is just hoping someone sees the value in them which is unlikely. The U.K market like I molested cars at this price point as you never know the quality of the work undertaken.

Dexter. Sold for a song. Goodbye my lovely ????

Bloody hell Jason that did not hang about. Will it be staying locally? There does seem to be a good strong local market for Evora's in Scotlandshire.

Thought of that but i need something urgent and the closest Lotus franchise is a 2 hour drive with traffic.

I've contacted them anyway to see if they can help.

Contact Will Blackham, he's an independent but can help with valuations.

I'm going to be looking to offload my Evora soon and probably via SOR.  I live near Harrogate so JCT600 in Leeds is closest.  Does anyone have any experience of SOR with this particular dealership or would I be best served taking it down to Lotus Silverstone who seem to be very good at this SOR lark?

My car is a December 2010 NA in Motorsport Green, 23k miles, 2ubular back box, 2ubular cat replacement pipe, barge boards and piper cross air filter.

£32k?

rough guess

so you'll probably get £27~29k back from the dealer

I dont think either dealer would have much trouble shifting it TBH.......

Silverstone always seems to have good reports....and whenever Ive dealt with Aimee in the past shes been very good and helpful
