    I am not sure if we are talking about the same thing @PrecisionMike(refer to Numpty comment above). The wallet was hit with a bill for 12 hours labour (£600) (2018) and £275 for an input shaft. Other bits and pieces (including clutch and VAT) brought the total bill to £1400. Is that bulky wallet territory? I still trust my mechanic. He has a lot of experience with Lotus cars. The problem is probably my ignorance and not understanding one word of this thread!

    Not defending auditors at all. FYI if auditors blow the whistle on a client, they are not allowed to tell the client. They are not allowed to use that as a reason for resigning. Just saying!

    I took an Emira for 4 laps round Thruxton on Friday - after 4 laps in a Cayman. Still running in and instructor would not let me go over 4000 revs. However, it was a fantastic drive and a brilliant car. Better buy some lottery tickets!

    No, the clue is in the word Dividend. It is regarded as income whether it is reinvested or taken as cash. Sorry to be a party pooper.

    Noooo! Don't jet wash. Use a sponge and do it by hand. I don't think jet wash on fibre glass is a good idea!
