  1. Happy Birthday chap. Hope you had a good day.
  2. It was going fast and it was sunny day so didn't notice green, well spotted.
  3. Spotted a fantastic looking black Emira on the M25 on Wednesday. My wife thought it was a Ferrari from the front. Looked a million dollars 😊.
  4. Congratulations on the car, looks good. Never seen wear like that before. SJ Sports sell the switches: https://www.sjsportscars.com/parts-and-accessories.htm#searchresults Or Douglas Valley are breaking a few Esprit's. Their customer service isn't the best, but worth a call. 01257 795272
  5. I bumped into Jimmy Page today. He was very chatty and was interested in my Son's guitar playing. Seemed a good chap.
  6. A couple of photos from the Scramble on Sunday. Was a great day.
  7. And a song. Used to blast this out of the window of my Avenger, subwoofers on max.
  8. If Top Gear is cancelled permanently I wont give a monkey's. I stopped watching it properly when Clarkson, May and Hamster left. The current crop are an embarrassment and it's painful to watch. Though I wish Flintoff a speedy recovery.
  9. It is largely the Government and the Bank of England's fault we have inflation. They've miss managed the economy for the last 12 years.
  10. Supporting what you're saying Kimbers. https://www.thesun.co.uk/motors/21737326/electric-drivers-face-struggle-sell-their-cars/
  11. The Esprit suspension was designed for RHD cars, so Federal LHD cars can slant to one side. Have a look at this post for more information:
  12. Great article. Reminds me of the 1988 Autocar article between the X180 Turbo and 328. They've even got the same colour cars. https://www.lotusespritturbo.com/Lotus_Esprit_Turbo_Versus_Ferrari_328GTB.htm
  13. And down 18% today. They're not out the woods yet.
  14. Good luck with Guinness. It's not all Champagne and roses. I've had shares in Shepard Neame for many years, they were doing well, but covid hit them hard and they're still not recovering. And the budget hasn't helped with their pubs, with an increase in alcohol duty.
  15. I tend to hang on to shares. I go for a high dividend yield. I get about £7000 a year from them. So ride out the crashes. I sold some share in Powell Duffryn a while back, the shares had been in our family since 1863. The Stock Broker could believe the age of the certificates and that we'd had them so long. The company is now known as PD Ports. I've made a couple of mistakes, selling a Gooch and Housego at £4. The price went up to £17 a couple of years later. I could have made a £160,000. Still you win some you loose some.
  16. If Credit Suisse goes down prepare for an almighty shit storm of galactic proportions.
  17. Is this Where's Wally? I can't see an Evora. Is it at the bottom of the water?
  18. The Credit Suisse share price has gone from $19.40 in 2018 to $1.92 today. Not ideal. A Saudi Client had invested heavily in them.
  19. Nothing to worry about, it was just a Mustang in drag.
  20. Or they drive them and then clock them back before the next service / Mot.
  21. My Wife put on Everything, Nowhere a while back. 10 minutes is all I could handle. It's weird, a bit mental and load of old bollox. She loved it though.
  22. The market has got spooked by SVB. Another Bank has failed too, Signature Bank. Hopefully things will calm down and we won't have a run on US Banks.
  23. Good movie. BB's were never officially sold in the States as they didn't meet the federal emissions and Ferrari didn't want to ruin there beautiful design with 5mph impact bumpers (1973 legislation). Clint imported one in but had to fit specially made bumpers. 5mph impact bumpers were intended to save the consumer expensive bodywork repairs. In the 80s the States reverted back to the international standard of 2 mph impact bumpers.
  24. I've loved the BB ever since I saw this ad in the late 70s, a beautiful looking thing. Must have been around the time of Star Wars.
