  1. He’s a bit confused with what he’s got though: ”Lotus Evora S (normally asperated)[sic]”
  2. It’s not shown on that diagram. It basically runs up & over the B pillar (behind the front seats). Here are a couple of links to previous threads on the topic: https://www.lotustalk.com/threads/first-look-my-evora-roadster.443026/ (Unfortunately, most of the linked photos seem to have been removed).
  3. There is a roll bar which runs behind the back of the front seats. This can’t be removed. Someone has tried to create a convertible Evora in the past (and, frankly, it looked ridiculous). The Exige uses the Elise tub. This was designed to be an open top car from inception. (If you recall, the very first version of the Elise wasn’t even going to have opening doors).
  4. @mdavies Aren’t you aware that lightweight versions of cars (ie CSL, GT3 etc etc) always cost more for less?
  5. And the Ford Focus. Which says more about your Ford GT than it does about Lotus. 🤣
  6. Whereabouts are you based, Ginettaman? I have a valved Komotec backbox available for sale. It is currently in Woodbridge, Suffolk. PM if you might be interested.
  7. Use the lower pressures then. Although, you might find your TPMS warning going off (especially when the tyres are cold).
  8. When you say 19” wheels, do you mean the 18/19” set or 19/20” set? The higher pressures were intended for the OEM Pirellis. As already stated, the lower pressure were for the Michelin Supersports (which were the OEM tyre for the 400). The 400 pressures were 2.0/2.2bar. I even find 1.8/2.0 can be a bit better. However, you might find that these pressures are slightly below the original warning thresholds. And, before you ask, these thresholds can’t be adjusted unfortunately.
  9. Yes, it is possible. But once you’ve factored in the price of all the parts (there are a lot more than you might initially imagine), labour and then paint, it will probably cost you over £5k.
  10. $92 each???!? Holy moly. They are a Saab/GM part. Much, much cheaper without the Lotus ‘tax’. A search on here will provide you with the part number.
  11. For regular (quieter) track use, you will probably have to change the back-box/silencer.
  12. FYI, a 2016 reg doesn't automatically mean that the car was built in 2016. Plenty of Evoras have sat for years, unregistered.
  13. They ‘had’ to change owners last year: https://www.expressandstar.com/news/business/2023/09/25/jobs-saved-at-car-wheel-manufacturer/
  14. Maybe because you never owned an Evora? 😉
  15. There is a certain brand of ODB reader which can also clear the airbag light (which will come on if you try to start your car with a flat battery). A search for 'Evora airbag light' should point you in the right direction. However, you won't find any commercially available reader which can read the Lotus specific codes (ie you won't find a hacked version of Lotus TechCentre).

Have you ever heard one firing its gun? 🤯😈 A better line is always found further down the ad: ”Disability is not necessarily a bar to application or success in this role and all applications are assessed individually.”
  17. Did the Pork win? Also, I’m pretty sure that particular GTE belongs to @Randy.
  18. Your car is going to be a Pork-slaying monster once that lot is fitted!

“Can someone tell McEnroe that he is meant to leave that behind, please?”
  20. An Aston Vantage? Absolutely. The dealers will be chock full of them before long. They certainly aren’t Pork GT cars. The Valkyrie is a road car. Just.
  21. “Engineered for real drivers”. Sounds familiar… 😂

Never underestimate the random stuff that I watch on youtoob. Now then, where are my points, please? 🤪
