  1. Please do not start new thread(s) in this section. Please list your car or item (for free) on https://www.lotusforsale.com. A thread will then be auto-generated in this section. Many thanks.
  2. Yes, it is the legit prototype car for the original 400 project.
  3. No lack on your part. (Moderators have access to different features. Post editing is one).
  4. How’s that? (I’m afraid that I can’t help with your query though).
  5. Ah, is this the ‘400 that never was’?
  6. Hmmm, I don’t think that ‘Dave’ is the actual owner/seller of this car!
  7. Isn’t that the car which was flipped on a YouTube vid a few weeks ago? If so, it seems to have taken a long time to sell again.
  8. Hello Trev, No, cracks in this area aren't common. At least, I can't recall anyone mentioning it before. It should be straightforward to fix but... to do it properly, I suspect that the rear clam will have to come off (to remove the grill). This isn't difficult; just a bit costly in terms of time. There is a very good Lotus approved bodyshop at Beaconsfield (so not a million miles away from you): https://thebeaconsfieldworkshop.co.uk Maybe send them an email and ask them for an approximate price to fix it? Tell them that @Bibs sent you.
  9. Absolutely ask them. However, in this age of GDPR, I don’t know how much they will be able to tell you anymore. You might be just well served by going through the various B&C (and other) invoices with as much patience & detail as possible. I’m pretty sure that somewhere on TLF there is a ‘what to look for when buying an Evora’ list. By comparing that list with the work that has already been done, you should get a pretty good idea of what future issues might arise. Is the seller on TLF? However, arriving to view a car in an E-Type might restrict your ‘price negotiation’ options slightly. 😉
  10. Hello Trev, Nice Jaaaaag! 😉 Have you tried calling B&C to discuss your thoughts? Pre-purchase inspections can be tricky things. Some companies would expect you to take the car to their workshop, others might only be willing to do an ‘inspection’ as part of a service. Most probably wouldn’t want to be liable for what they might (or might not) find. How mechanically minded are you? Although they are pretty rare, Evoras are just cars, really. Spending a bit of time with the search function on here will give you a very good idea of the recurring issues. Otherwise, where abouts in the country are you? Maybe a nearby TLFer could come with you when you go to look at a car?

    From another angle:
  12. Nope, it was/is an actual thing: 🔥 😳
  13. No, not with that ‘World Champion’ decal. That is just a copy from the JPS Esprit. The title of the ad also says ‘V6 Manual’. There is a distinct lack of a gearstick in any of the pictures which might make me think that it is actually a manual. There is also only 1 430 Sport in the UK. And it isn’t Empire Green, I’m afraid.
  14. Well, it was first mentioned on page 241 of this thread. Then again on page 244. It was being sold by @Jason Trevor at the time.
  15. @ramjet, the UK law was changed recently so that cyclists are no longer expected to be riding ‘in the gutter’. They can now occupy the middle of the lane and should be treated as the same ‘size’ as other vehicles. ie when being overtaken, they should be given as much space as if they were a car.
  16. “The force says the drones can track vehicles' speeds on dangerous stretches of road” 🤦‍♂️
  17. Can I drone detect a speeding vehicle? In a calibrated way? Can it feck.
  18. You’ve not been to Lucca then. 😉
  19. The GRrrrr Yaris is a bit more than just a ‘hot hatch’. It is a road going, homologated rally car.
