  1. Just an FYI I'm told that this was ordered by the president of the Lotus Club in France and came from the factory with the wheels, sport 350 seats, spoiler, and the order shows a sport 350 ECU. Interesting build.
  2. Can anyone tell me if this VIN is an actual LHD Sport 350? I ask because while it looks like one some of the bits don't match the description I've read online. This is a European car and some of the docs refer to it as a "V8-GT". SCCDA08291HD10253
  3. That drone is super cool. Me want...
  4. I live in the land of tiny garages so I have these three at home. Have 3 more stored off-site...
  5. Some of you that are into Motorcycles are familiar with the Ace Cafe London. There's one in Orlando and they have bike or car shows 5 nights a week, every week. Took the Lotus to Euro Car Night and everyone lost their mind. Got a front row seat, they moved stuff to put it up front. Great crowd with lots of nice cars. Mostly BMWs with a few Audi, Mercedes, and Alfas...
  6. Thought you might like to see some pics from this past weekends 24 hour race. Enjoy! A few more. I also included a pic of the Garage 56 Chevy NASCAR that will run at Le Mans later this year...
  7. Digging though some old CDs found this pic of my old Exige at Road Atlanta back in 2003.
  8. Post office run. Don't want to be rear ended by that Penske truck!
  9. I always assumed that Chevrolet's decisions were based primarily on cost. When they launched the C7 I watched an in-depth discussion with the lead engineer regarding design/technical decisions covering every aspect of the car. I was blown away with the detailed thinking that went into the overall decision making process around all technical decisions with cost only being a small part of the decision. Regarding the engine I remember service costs mentioned but a lot of it was packaging and keeping the motor light, keeping the weight lower chassis, and keeping the height smaller to keep the hood line lower and the weight as low as possible. I walked away with a whole new level of respect for the corvette engineering team. ps. I also remember him saying they had 50 engineers just working on the exhaust!
  10. Wondering what these are for? Connected directly to the battery... Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays! Roy
  11. Thanks @Tocus and @Bazza 907. I just shot Mark a note.
  12. If anyone ever hears of a LHD Essex car for sale please let me know!
  13. Back in the 1980s I had a three piece set of covers from the factory for service. Two clipped on the sides when the rear boot was open and one layer where the spoiler is. They were unfinished fiberglass on the outside and foam on the side that touched the body. Are those available? If not what do you guys use to keep damage to a min when working on the Esprit? Here's a pic of one on the factory line. Thanks!
