Samsung has announced a significant breakthrough in (EV) battery technology, introducing solid-state batteries that could be a revolution. A range of 600 miles on a single charge with the capability to recharge in 9 minutes. The batteries are smaller, lighter and safer than the lithium-ion batteries currently used in most EV's. They boast an energy density of 500Wh/kg, nearly double that of mainstream EV batteries. This info came from a video on YT which talks about precious metals such as silver and gold. I stack both these metals The connection to EV's is that Samsung will be putting silver into these new batteries, thus driving the price of silver upwards.

Anybody caught the news from Samsung on their advance with EV batteries?

When I was about 12 I used to collect the F1 race cards from the Shredded Wheat boxes of cereal. In those days most manufacturers gave away tiny toys and stuff with their food. I had a fair few cards of Jim Clark and also Graham Hill, and from then on I followed Lotus in F1 etc.

They are absolutely disgraceful. I speak as a Lotus fan of 60 plus years and owner of 4 Lotus cars previously. I wouldn’t touch the Emira with a barge pole. Very sad.

GM had two heroes as a youngster, ACBC and Bob Dylan.

Lotus have a saloon on the drawing board. I thought the market for saloons was fading? Lke a lowered version of the Eletre.

@exeterjeep I read the article and noticed another article that funding has been secured from a source not revealed, for the short to medium term.

The last time I put a loose car cover, similar to yours, on my car (a Jaguar) which has one of the hardest paints in the business, it ended up marking the paint due to the cover flapping in the wind.

@stephenwhyte - Yes, mine was 1992. The only blemish I can see on this one is the wear on the right bolster of the drivers seat. Otherwise a beauty. Bit “toppy” on the price I agree, but I’d buy it and re-commission it.

I owned an S4S identical to this one. I'm sure the S4S decals were standard fitting in both quarter window glass. Why would anyone remove these? Is this an S4S? The picture of the engine bay shows the "Sport" plate fixed on top. The colour of the plate is different to the rocker covers. The interior shows no map pocket on the tunnel on the drivers side, which I believe was standard. I had one on the passenger side tunnel carpet also. Maybe a check with Graham to confirm it really is an S4S.
