  1. From your photo, it isn't the LED that is loose, just the lens to focus the light. Should be able to just glue it back in position, but best to use a high-temp (~120°) glue. Looks like your issue is with the control board, and these won't be available separately. Might be able to find an electronics refurb service, but the issue may be in the PCB itself. For reference, the LEDs look like a Lumileds Luxeon Rebel: https://lumileds.com/products/high-power-leds/luxeon-rebel/ Might need to order a few versions to find out what colour temperature they are, or replace them all.
  2. I've updated the thingiverse files. I've added a blank bodies step file for you to be able to add your elise logo. I don't know if you've got a key blank, but think you need to find a JMA OP-S. Can be bought on ebay for a fiver each: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165241270026?hash=item267925af0a:g:PUIAAOSw4gBhvw9C&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4IybS8dOv1mujuOnkxrOX5Tnll3xtmgRve3EuYuvirgHkCbjGjh5M8ZMIupfQqgOeHpezAuEvMzNsqm6X80MgJJvJlnFRTGZkAqz%2BsTVyu0JWiorWskOJvU0iTjT%2BMl9%2FhXLbGv8Tew7VmqKMts%2BUs6iEWi1x%2FIyh0rUkobuXcPamNO5g9JuR54XmegXG5s8ctGjhBJrCxIpsuGarpcS1bqDUMpJtWYWbUVgijSXZPQUC6B6LXsQezuNDS46eRP%2BDRB2UgcO3Q0Xq5lsQNgMRPTC0ndjQX41UvoKVRxSUwGu|tkp%3ABk9SR_qlsqjvYA I haven't tested this key, so don't know if it does work. This is for an S2 Elise/Exige, S1's use a different key. If you do order/test this key, could you let me know so that I can update here and on thingiverse?
  3. Sure, I can do that in a while, not at my computer at the moment. It will have to be in Step format, as the part is designed in Catia. Coincidentally, I tried to get another key cut this weekend. Unfortunately the key blank I got years ago doesn't seem to be available at Timpsons anymore. I have seen a forum post that says what the key blank is, but might have been on LotusTalk rather than here.
  4. "Councillors took the decision at a parish council meeting on November 25, 2021, to undertake a public consultation with you in early January 2022, to find out if you would like to keep or change the existing road name." It would also require each household to pay a fee of £40 to WDBC to change the name. The parish council has offered to pay for replacement road signs." So the the right thing would for the people on that lane to say "no, we are happy with the historic name of the lane. Take a holiday in your own backyard."
  5. My 2005 2zz Exige N/A has now passed 165k miles. It has started using oil, about 1 litre per 360 miles (tankful). From minor internet research, it may be from the lower piston ring(s) sticking. There is one drain hole in the bottom piston ring groove, so when rebuilding, it is normal to drill a second hole opposite to it I have also lost the self-centring between 3-4th of the gear lever. Think this requires gearbox dis-assembly, so have lived with it for 20k miles, and not a big issue. This is my only car, and have never been concerned with its reliability. One failed suspension ball joint @ about 140k is the only time I have been stranded on the side of the road.
  6. Will they be the National Party of Scotland? Splitters
  7. The acknowledgement email you get after completing the survey... "Thanks for your submission to the BBC. For: Survey about the BBC We’ll keep it for up to 270 days – and if we don’t use it we’ll then delete it and any other information you sent us. We really appreciate your help to understand what you think and feel about the BBC." So @PaulCP, you're probably right!
  8. Anyone else received an email to give your opinion of the BBC? Just completed mine. Think they got an average of below 3 out of 10. (BBC Radio 6 is the only thing good to come out of that corporation).
  9. I think we can all agree you have the best champagne... 😉
  10. Surely this is the tastiest brie?
  11. Ursula von der Leyen just said that the EU is the largest economy in the world. Not according to these figures: For the fifth year in a row, China was the world's largest economy in 2019. It contributed $22.5 trillion, or 17.3%, of the world's $130.1 trillion in gross domestic product (GDP), according to estimates by the World Bank. It uses so-called international dollars to make better comparisons among countries.1 The U.S. was second, with $20.5 trillion, or a 15.8% share. The European Union was in third place, contributing $19.9 trillion And once UK leaves, the EU will shrink by $2.9 trillion. But let's not let facts get in the way of a good soundbite.
  12. But makes it difficult for the elderly, infirm and those susceptible to CV19 to vote.... or they could become the dead ones voting. To sway a vote would require 10's of thousands of fabricated votes. If it were that easy, both sides could do it.
  13. If it is north of Worcester, Barry is probably best. If it is south of Worcester, I can help if you want.
  14. Hi Justin, Just got your message via thingiverse. Am uploading it now, should be able to find it at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4405218 I'm not sure if it will work on an FDM machine, but hopefully it will give you something to work with.
  15. They say that about plastics at the moment. If https://www.myheru.com/ devices are installed in all homes and businesses, then plastics and all waste becomes an energy source. (And based in Worcester too👍).
  16. Washington D.C. vs New York and Canberra vs Sydney. Seems like financial beats political in those instances. Although Washington D.C. is probably catching up with all the pressure groups and vested interests.
  17. Companies I have worked for use Ogle, always excellent quality, but that quality costs. Probably 4x what can be sourced from China, with 90% of the quality. You might like my latest print. Needed to stop my ER20 collets from rolling around in their drawer, and also an easy way to find out what size they are, so made one of these.
  18. 2010 Elise lights won't fit a 2005 Elise. 2005 have an outer lens and bezel that covers a recess in the bodywork. Later Elise have the outer lens and bezel bonded to a lamp housing, which drop into a hole in the bodywork. Very different and incompatible. However, as you have a 2005 Elise, I have spare LHD light clusters from when I had my Elise in the Netherlands. Part numbers A117M0091S and A117M0092S on: https://deroure.com/diagrams.asp?TBL=12284&MAK=1&MDL=11&SMA=0&SMO=0&ST=&SC=0 PM me if of interest.
  19. And 3-pots. BMW i8 or Koenigsegg Gemera?
  20. Hoax. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/whatsapp-martinelli-phone-virus-warning/ Snopes is the place to check these things out
