I definitely remember getting intimate with @C8RKH in the back of @Dan E's dodgy van.  That may have had something to do with @Bibs's driving.  Of note is the fact that my injuries have since prevented me from doing any Lotus work, but recovery is imminent.  I should sue, but which one?

9.00 tonight story of Concorde on BBC four

Something different.  A Mk1 doohickey from a Rolls Royce Olympus 593 engine.  It's about 1.3m long.  I know it's part of the air system, but that's it!  I'll have to pull out the manual at some point and i dentify it.  I've tried, but I can't get it to fit an Esprit.  Some very sexy wirelocking on this.

A few pics from my archive.  On 25 October 2003 - the day after the final commercial landings - some staff attended a final viewing of 2 of the fleet (coincidentally the 2 I'd flown on) in the hangar.  This was the last chance to get up close before they were decommissioned and delivered to their respective resting places.  A sad time, as we always thought we'd manage a last-minute rescue deal, but it was not to be.

Finally received funding for an expedition to deepest back garage, so today we set off early to ensure we reached the far wall by dark.  I swear we found several new species of spider, and many tools I never knew I had.  Finally I caught sight of probably my strangest Concorde possession:  a 60-person slide/raft removed from G-BOAE just before her delivery flight to Barbados in 2003.
