What gauge wiring has been used for the alternator?

Hi Derek,

4 AWG, which has thickness of 0,204" (5,189 mm)

Heavy duty chro-moly shifter reinforcement plate has been installed. Additional studs had to be welded in.

Generally 4 AWG cable with a good insulator is rated at 170 amps so it's potentially undersized if the electrical demand comes close the alternators maximum output.

Exhaust manifold  and turbo support/stay installed.

Ford 90 degree oil filter adapter and MOCAL MOCT B3 thermostatic sandwich plate installed successfully.

All alloy tanks have been commissioned and ready to install.

Tanks were installed finally on June 2, 2021.  " Made in Poland" tanks are really well made and less expensive than UK fabrication cost.  And... no import duty fee!

Engine compartment and bulkhead thermal insulation installed. Looks like inside of the bank vault, LOL.

Bulkhead wall insulation also reduces engine noise transmission into the cabin. Eye candy!

Your size allocation of photos is made up of the addition of the size of any photos anywhere on TLF.

To be able to post more photos, users either have to delete old ones, which leaves gaps in topics as the photos are no longer there, or the better option for everyone, is to become a member. (like you already are)

That increases your server space.

Harald,

It is not a vacuum, but Pierburg BMW charge cooler coolant pump.  Hard rubber washers were used at all fasteners. Can not hear anything in the cabin.

Can I please ask what that gold finish is on your suspension components? Is it plated, powder coat or paint? The car is looking amazing with an incredible attention to detail - superb!
