It looks like the issue re the available boxes depending on which engine you pick has been fixed. If you pick the I4 now, you will see the paddles on the wheel if you look at the interior. Pick the V6 and the paddles disappear on the interior views. You can still select the gearbox and I assume you will get the exposed shifter in the manual.

And for some reason I can't get to the configurator anymore. Instead I get a page with a message on it that I cannot seem to get past?

Might have been during an update. It seems they are improving it.

Over time they will add more of the options that we know will be on the table, such as Tyre choice.

I have mucked around with it and am unsure about the black pack. I like the colour of the car going over the roof, but I'm not much on the wing mirrors being half black and half body colour.

That does look good to be fair. I'd have it darker and more metallic though.

At some point in 2022/23 Lotus may open up to custom paint colours for the next edition.

Don't forget that right now they are dealing with the Launch/First Edition cars and a large order book - so that means they need to limit some choices, especially colours, to get the production up to a significant capacity and get those First Editions out.  Mucking about with "special" paints will only slow them down. So a lot more colours to come, but yes, in time..... But's that logical isn't it?

Yeah, but late 2022 is the best scenario and 2023 I think is the worst as they have invested a lot into that painting section and will wish to capitalise on it.    

My personal belief is that next edition Emira will be launched in Easter 2023 so we could expect for the new colours for that to be released towards the end of 2022.

Just had the configuration email which indicates V6 FE only, not initially my first choice.

Didn't load either here, but a few seconds ago it worked... but nothing new to see.

Hasn’t been loading for me all day on laptop or phone.  I’ve been checking regularly - maybe that’s why it appears busy all the time  

The colour options are now headed “First Edition” and when you select an engine option the gearbox options change correctly. 

I hope the wheel of death on the renderer is because they are uograding to a more photo-realistic version

I notice the website now says the AMG engine will be tuned to deliver 360hp. Maybe I missed it but I don't remember seeing that before. Can't see a power figure for the V6 but I assume 410ish.

360hp was the figure given in the launch briefing, alongside 400hp for the V6.  Matt Windle said on camera at Goodwood the V6 would be 416hp, which is the same as the US-spec Evora GT.

Looks like they are in the middle of updating it with specifications.  The Emira model page now only has a disclaimer showing and you can't get to the configurator.
