I rechecked the dates and it looks like I actually placed the order late on the 7th July 21 (I've now stopped buying things on the internet after drinking wine). It's the Credit card that was saying the money transfer was recorded on the 8th. Sorry about that (Blush Face) hope that's not caused too much confusion.

Thanks for the update.  June delivery looks like it covers deposits up to 8 July mid afternoon so a late 7 July or early 8 July isn't affecting the month.

It looks like I was close on my guesstimate.  So far it's looking like this:

• June delivery = deposits up to 8 July mid afternoon
• July delivery = 8 July late afternoon to 9 July early afternoon
• August delivery = 9 July late afternoon to 10 July lunchtime
• September delivery = 10 July afternoon to 11 July morning

I'm not sure everyone for Sept has been contacted yet as I've seen far fewer people saying they've got a September date than for the other months.  That may also be tied in with US production ramping up.

I gather the next round of calls for V6 FE October delivery batch will start in March.  The next step in the process for i4 FE and Base Edition (2nd deposit + config) is also due to start in March.

Probably not far out. I paid deposit 11am on 8th July and been told July delivery. Hopefully early! When I asked there was no commitment to time in July

Mine was 8th July 9am and I’m June…  so if strict deposit order I’m the last day or two of June and you’re the first day or two of July!

I just put down my deposit on last Thursday, Feb 17th at Lotus in Oakville, Ontario Canada. I should have the details today or tomorrow regarding my placement in line.  I decided to go with the i4, as I recently purchased a LC500 convertible.

I've been noticing on other channels, Faceache for example, that i4 deposit holders are getting their spec and confirmation calls.

Anyone had their's yet?

Based on our last data, @Evotion and @Simon B and I "should" have been at the front-ish of the queue...

... and many who are posting are much later in the dates for their initial deposit...

They haven't started proactively calling/emailing yet but if you ask Lotus Customer Services on webchat or by email they'll send out an i4 config link and take the 2nd deposit online (another £3k if you've already paid £2k)..... 😉

They hadn't sorted out the auto-confirmation email 2 days ago so that still confirmed a V6 too ("being fixed")....

I am assuming nobody is getting an email that is saying they are to get delivery in June still?

So we might be still near the front of that queue - just delayed.

I'd love to know which third of the month of July it is, at least.

There should be a trickle affect so that all global customers and i4 customers can also expect a one month extension.

I would hope that, once the i4 FE is in production, they reschedule the production line by first deposit date for both engine types..... 🤣

Useful to know that you can get around the system by, errr, bucking the system.  I'll be royally hacked off if I've got a later delivery date for dumbly waiting for them to contact me (and I'm not having a dig at those smarter than me, because it would be a long line).

I did not get a call, but emailed lotus-hub, reply came from customercare@ with a personal link to put in specification and pay £3K; which I did - all on the same day (12th)

No news on where this sits in the queue

I suspect the queue will change dramatically with dropout from FE should they release the "standard" configurator anyway

 

Mildly confused by the address part of the payment window, which correctly put my country as Storbritannien, makes every day a school day

Also those who do not want to get their car later into the autumn/winter period and will want to wait until next spring. I use my Evora all year (and taxed), if I had an Emira on order would only delay from Dec to Jan for the year change etc.

Link sent me to a Swedish website (no, not that kind), so had to hack the url to get it to work.  Then having used Google Chrome at their recommendation, the transaction plug-in crashed.  Fought with clearing form/ cookies and cache etc, but because the transaction broke it then kept coming up with "authentication failed".  Ended up copying and pasting the link in to Microsoft Edge and that, again, took me to Lotus Sweden.  This is my work PC, so there's no dodgy browser history to worry about (my tablet might be more, errr, interesting).  Messed around with the URL again and finally managed to give them some money.

It really shouldn't be this hard to give a company money for the product you want to buy and, presumably, they want to sell... although I am beginning to have my doubts...

So, second deposit paid and i4 configuration submitted.  Thank Donald Duck for that.  Happy Ostara everybody...
