Emira final email, payment time

I received the Emira checkout email today, asking for payment, further options and final delivery type. Anybody else got this yet? I'm hoping this means the wait is over.

Congratulations.  I know a couple of people who have had it.  Did you get the email about enhancement and protection options about a week ago?

The checkout email is the "30 day contact", so you should be in line for a mid Oct delivery, depending on which delivery option you choose.  Had they said you were in the Sept or Oct build batch?

What's the first year's road tax on the Emira? And how much in subsequent years? Do we know what banding it's in yet?

I wonder what the conversion rate from deposit to full orders currently stands at. My car was schedule for November but I pushed back to next year. With the events of the past two to three weeks i very much doubt that I’ll be pursuing the final order.

The numbers I’ve got are £2365 first year, £520 for next 5 years then £165.

The new car rates went up and the CO2 was higher than initially estimated - 258g/km.

Rules changed in April’17, so depends when it was registered.

If it was first registered after 1st April 2017 it should follow the new system and be £520. 🤷‍♂️

How can the rego figure be 330 to 615GBP? Up to someone on the day?

I had a 2000 mk1 Jps Elise way back when, and that somehow fell in the only year that was charged £195 tax!

Cars one year either way were something like £20 cheaper.

I felt very swizzed at the time but would gladly pay £195 a year tax now 😕

Checkout completed, chose  home delivery apparently lots of slots, says delivery within 4 weeks, so I guess October delivery may be early November mayebe soon.
