Spooky, was just telling my kids (who have never seen a MM film yet) that this was a concept due a revisit. Lets hope it's better than Thunderdome!

Need for Speed on DVD. Heart Stopping action, real Car fest! Also watched "Safehouse" with Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds. Not seen it before but what a great movie.

If you wish to watch (for historical purposes only, because its terrible) the world's biggest financial disaster box office film, look no further than 'Delgo'.

This film was made by Fathom Studios, as their initial attempt to take on Pixar and Dreamworks head on in the realm if CGI animation.  It cost $42million to make, and only did $17,000 opening day, and a paltry $500k opening weekend.  To date it has not cleared $1 million in ticket sales, DVD & online sales.

It is widely considered the biggest flop in entertainment history.

Lego Movie

Everything is Awesome as well as the movie. Didn't think I'd like it but LOL'd I did. 8.5/10

Wendy watched "Lucy" yesterday. Was a waste of £14 apparently......though she said she did laugh at the end.....it's not a comedy so that's not a good indictment. 2/10

Yup. Hahaha. That's about it. She was totally confused when she came out and she's more intelligent than most.

Just watched 'The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance' and now settling into 'Once Upon a Time in the West'. Gotta love bank holiday TV!

Good for you, Bibs. Once Upon a Time in the West was one of the most haunting (and somewhat under appreciated) movies of all time. One of Sergio Leone's best.

Finally got to see Guardians of the Galaxy last night. Great mix of comedic moments, when needed, and great action and a half decent storyline. Really, really enjoyed it 9/10.

Also watched new Arnie Film Sabotage. Definitely MEH! Arnies his normal self but I always think he needs a good Director and this one didn't have one. 5/10, ok if you like shoot em ups. Story was stupid.

Saw Fury and really enjoyed it. Thought it was a bit too much "Oh isn't war terrible" which detracted a little from the awesome action sequences and didn't really do much for me. If it wasn't so dark I would have given it 8. 7/10

Interstellar. Bored, bored, bored, boringy bored bored. Good special effects gets it a 5/10......................Bored.

On DVD,

How to train your dragon 2, good but not as good as the first 6/10

Blended. If you are a bit of a sucker for romantic comedy (like me) and really like Adam Sandler and/or Drew Barrymore then this is a 9-10/10. If not you may find it a bit.....MEH....at a 5/10 but defo worth watching and even my Mrs had several out loud laughs which is really unusual. Bit predictable but good fun.

I had the old VCR copy but obviously that went years ago, so I have just repurchased the classic

"Long Good Friday"

Bob Hoskins is classic as the hard man Harold Shand with Helen Mirren looking totally hot as his woman. Also a real trip down memory lane as most of the film was made in Londons Docklands where I grew up. It's one of my all time greatest movies 10/10

Suspension, brakes, chipped, chargecooler rad and pump, injectors, ignition coils and leads, BOV, highflow cat and zorst, Translator and tie rods, Head lights, LEDs to tail lights and interior,Polybushes to entire front end, Rad fans, rad grill, front end refurb with aluminium spreaderplates and galvanised bolts. Ram air, uprated fuel pump, silicone hoses through out, wheels refurbed and powder coated, much more, all maintenance.

American Sniper. I found it an extremely tough watch. Don't get me wrong it was absolutely brilliant and showed war to be the horror that it really is and how he struggles with his anger when he is home on leave and the effects on his family is totally believe-able.

I could watch it again, but there are bots I would have to fast forward to look away. 9.5/10. Totally understand why it is up for an Oscar, but not for everyone. Wendy thought it was realistic but didn't enjoy it.

Jupiter Ascending (Yes we are going to the Cinema a lot). 7.5/10. Great fun and awesome effects. Story is a little "underdeveloped" it could have done with another half an hour of character building. But overall a good watch, enjoyable. Won't win any awards though! :)

I saw American Sniper the other night and really enjoyed it. Quite a moving film and once the end credits started to roll it dawned on me that it was very much a Clint Eastwood directed movie.

It was a very romantic evening, all told. I went with a hot date and we had the cinema all to ourselves - which was great because it meant it was ok to talk about stuff on screen without annoying anyone nearby. Mind you, my date did start snoring part way through...
