I tried to get carbon fiber in place of the small black part of the 400 wing but Lotus said it wasn’t technically feasible.  I went with black wing part, carbon fiber roof, carbon fiber rear diffuser cover (saves a lot of weight) and carbon fiber hood panel.  I was concerned about black and carbon fiber conflicting.  But they wind up looking great together in this pattern.

My Evora has been getting some serious TLC at CMC in Edinburgh...new clutch, re-conded compressor, service, MOT and a new 2ubular exhaust!!

Saw your car undressed, naked and in bits last Tuesday when I dropped off my VX at Craigs.

She was looking a bit sorry for herself but after getting dressed she does look super again.

Yeah, the dark wheels suit the colour of he car...definitely wouldn’t work as well with shiny silver alloys.  Just the back 2ubular back box for now, I’m led to believe from Craig it sounds epic especially on the overrun, but not actually picked the car up yet!!

Haha...I’ve seen another car getting a clutch done and it’s a fair strip down right enough!!  I’m led to believe it will feel like a new car!! 😀

The natural progression should be from my Sports Racer to a 400, but the GT is the true evolution in style. The 400 is a good machine but when Lotus use GT styling for the new 410 and the aftermarket is buzzing with GT bumpers for the S1 and 400 you know the 400 styling was more Audi/Lamborghini than Lotus..... I’ll get my coat 🧥😉😬

A phone video from my son of me in my Lotus Evora Sport 410 breaking the calm, piece and tranquility as I drive through the village and past the house on a really nice Scottish Sunday Summer evening.  

We'd just moved back into our house after a 7 month stint in temporary accommodation due to an internal flooding and after finding a list of snagging items as long as my arm and leg i was feeling stressed, pissed off and generally in the mood to kill someone, anyone, but preferably a builder/decorator/plumber or electrician!  My wife suggested i take Ruby out for a drive, so this was me heading off into the sun for a 2 hour blast around gloriously empty roads, at the end of glorious Sunny Sunday.

You won't really see the car, but hopefully it gives an idea of the noise - my son was up the hill on our drive and around 180-200 metres from the road. Pump up the volume!

The Evora certainly does produce a nice soundtrack!  People always seem surprised at how good they sound and how loud they are.
