22 days till the next DVLA auction.

I had a quick poke at the Excel CSV downloadable catalogue, there are 8 rather pricy three character regs from £2500, but 59 four character regs from £500.

I've got my OBD data log running for the time being, and will watch intake and engine temps for a few long runs, as I suspect I dont need a smaller plate.

I had wondered that, but it was a wheel shop advertising with a link to purchase so assumed not. 

Also, after reviewing the other amazing wheel fitments on their page (mostly super cars) I'd guess they're real.  Cool page actually: 'brixtonforged'

That would make me think exactly the opposite personally. I'd say that's definitely a photoshop, no way that front wheel fits the car, it's too big for the arch by a decent amount.

Check out their insta page. You'd say the same about most of the wheels fitted (examples below). Either way, just sharing the pic as it looked cool.

Went to a local car show today - the Blackthorn Classic Car Show. We were just going to have a look around, but as I went to turn into the car park a guy came over and asked if we'd display it instead. Just as well I'd given it a quick clean this morning! Ended up getting in free and had a great day out. Got quite a few laughs when people realised I had my son in a car seat, as well as my wife in the car. One guy (one of the guys in the photo) ended up calling his son to tell him to look into Evoras. He'd just sold his TVR to make room for a baby on the way and wasn't sure what to get next. We were the only Evora there, and quite a few people had never seen or heard of the Evora.

I suspect the answer is 'no'...

So, how would 'Jo public' indeed know about the car?!

Pretty sad really... considering just how good the product is.

It really is crazy that so many people, petrolheads included, have no idea about the Evora. The pic of the show looks good btw with a nice variety of cars

Love it Pat. Very much looking forward to (properly) putting our little one into the Evora (one of the main reasons for selling the Elise and replacing with the Evora). Will likely need to wait till she's in a forward facing seat though.

Had similar to @Relic222 at the Dumfries Car Show a couple of weeks back. I lost count of the number of people walking past who would first-off utter "Oh, it's a Lotus" followed by a walk around to the back of the car and "Evora? Never seen/heard of that one".

@DBG no need to wait, just need a wife who doesn't complain too much about sitting in the back 😂 We had a rear facing car seat on the passenger seat, pushed all the way forward, and my wife squeezed in behind it. Definitely not a solution for long journeys, but was okay for 20 mins. Looking forward to having a front facing seat when he's older though.

@Alfa2Evora people seemed to like it - I didn't have any negative comments, just surprise at not knowing what it was. I didn't spend much time around the car - I was too busy looking at everyone else's 😀

Having owned my Evora S1 NA for 3 years & recently retired, I thought I would treat myself to a belated retirement present & traded it in for an Evora 400. Picked this one up from Lotus Silverstone at the weekend.
