Garage looks very tidy....unlike mine....

Appearances can be very deceiving lol - this is the other one - spot the Lotus 🤣

I’ve also had problems with lifting paint in other houses I’ve had where I’ve painted. Unsure to paint (cheap option) or to lay some sort of epoxy/resin.

No. The other 3 live on the drive.

I have painted a number of garage floors, but where the car stands it tends to lift, even with some sort of pre sealer. And for some reason the lotus lifts it more than other cars I have in the other garages.

Having tried sealing and painting a 'powdery concrete' garage floor I went for silver rubber checker-plate matting (ebay) over 10 years ago. Trolley jacks roll on it, axle stands don't cut it, it's not cold to sit on and fluids wipe up easily.

Ian @mayevora posted a pic on April 3rd  in this, thread of his car with the cover on, I think he had his GTE wing fitted by then.

Ah fab! I'll have a think about it- haven't actually picked the car up yet 😅

I'm wary of Kimbers' experience (the post before Mayevora's)- it's quite windy where I live, we often get a lot of dust blowing up from the fields, the car certainly won't be cleaned after every drive, and the paintwork is immaculate so I don't want to risk damaging the paintwork. But I also want to keep it from prying eyes! 🤔

This looks good - do you over winter the car?  Do the tyres stick to the floor?  Thanks

Yes please. Do I just hit buy in the store? I'd love a custom black one with yellow piping but I'd take speed as a priority.

- Read back thread and just ordered

Meant to post here. Received my cover and put it straight to use while I rectify the previous house owners mistake of turning the garage into a home gym!

Very nice quality product, worth every penny. The soft fleece internally brushes clean easily and the outside proved 100% waterproof through snow and rain.

Very pleased I bought it.

Get one!  Stops all the grills filling with snow and can be quickly removed to go play in the  snow to find out how the Yoko' Winter Tyres and traction control behave. (Answer - Very Good but not really suited to deep snow because of ground clearance. That's a Mini All4 alongside in front of a Subaru Forester 2.5XTN - now that's 'the real deal' for deep snow in the Alps.)image.jpeg.7d297f056c8eb10fe72fb0e6487209fa.jpeg

Loving the look of that cover - seems quite different to the one I previously had on my Evora as it completely covers the wheels and appears much smoother!

@Bibs what are they like these days to fit an Elise S2?

You could get a tailor made one that we could have SCC make for you which is the Stormshield+ via the TLF Shop. Otherwise, you could get one of the new OEM ones we sell which is the 'soft shell' like material, they're cut for an S3 but I'm sure it would be a good fit to an S2 too.
