TUESDAY - Good fun meeting in London with ex-Lotus boss Dany Bahar, whom I always liked. He’s 18 months into a new project, Ares Design, which takes rich people’s cars and rebuilds them as the clients want.

The cleverness of the proposition is that the client, although assisted by professionals, is the author of the design. Thus Ares isn’t a producer of products, so it needs no brand development, just a good reputation.

Work is of high value but doesn’t disturb a car’s structure, so the project need concern neither original manufacturer nor legislative authorities. Genius.

Bahar will soon have a presence in the UK again; Ares is doing so well it needs a Piccadilly showroom, he says.

I hope it's far enough away from the Lotus showroom on Regents St.  I'm sure Lotus doesn't want to be associated with that vain pillock again.

The Infinit Showroom next to the Audi centre in Mayfair is empty and probably far enough away from Regents Street. Having said that Sydney Australia is probably far enough!

A different world where style (or bullshit, or waffle or words or whatever) wins over substance.

Good luck to him, everyone deserves the right to make a living just as long as whilst doing it they don't destroy other peoples livelihoods in the process who's need for a job and regular salary is much greater.

None of this matters. Donny Rump, aka, "Make America Great again...as long as it means we can still scare the sh*t out of the rest of the world" will a) be making Bahar vis veep (and will simply sue anyone who has any "birther" issues with that), and b) will be buying Ares, to be renamed RUMP PERFORMANCE, subsequently making any vehicle mods you can dream up available...as long as each car is slathered in brass. And the interior. And really, you've got to give it up for Don, showing the unwashed masses at Lime Rock that even though he only gets driven around in an Ares-modded limo, he still knows how to scream directives from the back seat, with a bullhorn, to the driver and navigate with style:

Nah, people might not be happy but like here you have a two house system and he won't be able to do anything, your senators and such like will wrap his hands in duck tape just like they did with Obama so nothing will really change other than the rhetoric, which might actually make good TV! ;)

Somehow I can see the similarities. Not just that both are renowned for their hair.:lol:

We may have a 2 house system, but I hope the button they give him is connected to nothing. His rhetoric is like that little tyrant from North Korea, but we got working toys.  The man's ego and painting himself as faultless seem to have no bounds.
