Something wrong with my reply to Multi quotes & I'm not being allowed to copy and paste either.  Must be my company net nanny in overdrive.  I was going to say in reply to Bingoking that Scotland is taking over the world thanks to his PM!  Also going to say to Andrew C that you do not appear on my map!  Only 3 in Edinburgh covered by 2 dots and you are not one of them.

 

Bibs, that lead me nicely to what happens when a few use the same rather general location as say for example the two living supposedly on Princess Street in middle of Edinburgh.  You don't see that there is 2 there without some hunting so you wouldn't generally go looking to do that.  The same thing happened when it came to placing myself in Dunblane.  Gedi had already got there first (no where near his house as it happens) so I never showed unless I knew I was there.  I moved myself to my new plot as I'll be moving anyway sometime.

 

Apart from that a good feature imho.

As ever, I don't write this software and I'm not a software developer so hands up, no idea but this is still Beta software though so I'm sure an update may include grouping the icons until you zoom in, I've seen that a few times on similar maps

My location needs editing.  I used my current location.... it dumped me in Brimingham area - only about 400 miles out  or you can delete it and I will re-do it.

Here's a bit of feedback for the developers, "I know this is your day job, but should you perhaps find another?".

I added then updated my location a couple of times before deciding it's so c**p that I just deleted it.

Just added my current location, seems there are 7 of us in the world. I knew +0 ownership was exclusive   hahahahaha

Are you using a proxy server via work? That'll give it a headache. To be fair, I've just looked and your IP address resolved to NR9, is that not accurate?

NR9, where's that?  I'm in Scottieland, PH14.  Maybe my broadband provider routes me that way (plusnet).

NR9 is accurate but I was going to put it a bit more accurate than that, it failed, one attempt put me as in the river Yare (there have been weeks when I'm only a few yards from it).

Also, when updating location there are two (ish) ways, the link near the top RHS of the page, which does lead to something, or right clicking the pushpin, and selecting "edit my location" which doesn't.

If you select 'update location' you can enter your address/postcode in the search box on the right?

That didnt work for me. 

I had to right click on the map, zoom in and physically drop a pin.

Good one Kieran, I've now followed your method.

Neither of those options worked.

The "current location" dropped me in birmingham..

The postcode option just froze...

Hence had to physically drop a pin.

This has just been updated to the latest version.
