It's a blue one.  If anything, it's a little tight.

I,ve mounted the top altenator screw from the other side.With the engine in the car you could not remove this long bolt if the alt. is faulty.

Yes that’s right. Found that out with the other car. Although it then fouls or the plenum chamber. But easier to remove the plenum that the engine I suppose. 

Not a car or spanner in sight.. 😁

Thanks to Sparky for diagnosing a faulty TPS. Stripped and rebuilt and running sweet. Some minor cosmetic work to do but happy daze. ✌️

So, Shelly Schumacher is taking a road trip up to Southport to visit friends for a few days. 

The M100 is running fine. Cured a small oil leak on the cooler feed pipe. All new brake lines and fluid. No issues, so hopefully an uneventful drive ahead.

Cheers lads. I’m pretty hopeful it runs as good as it looks. Forged pistons polished and ported head, S4 manifold and turbo... happy daze... ✌️

Tanks are out and not too bad. Going to treat rust and paint in hammerite. Took out the rear quarter lights to make the job easier and to repair the trims that are cruddy. Progress assured this bank holiday.
