Yes last four numbers, 0342 indicates ROW car?

Just checked plate in windscreen.  definitely 0342.  Maybe need to start looking at history a bit further. Other VIN number indicate 1981, Export Hot, but then a 1 prior to 0342 which says Domestic which I assume means UK?

Agree Stephen it certainly looked best in Red with Gold decals! ?

Unfortunately I doubt the car will ever see the road again as not sure Haynes even run them up regularly?

Does anyone recognise this Dry Sump? It was for sale through Copart in 2011 and went for about £8k I seem to remember..

Did anyone on here buy it?

Do not remember seeing that car, very sad as it looked like a well cared for vehicle going by the interior   8K was strong money for 2011, lets hope it was reshelled.

But sadly looks like it would of made a fatastic parts car also

I used to have membership Dan and get some good cars like my Celebration Excel for £800 but then most cars started selling to Eastern Europe for crazy money so stopped looking. I bid the Esprit to £6k but it just went mad, I was surprised as that price was before commissions. It was hit quite hard but I knew of a chassis and body panels at the time.

Great link Stephen, I went budgeting for £8k at the time but would of gone a little higher as it did look nice in the flesh although I was not keen on the sunroof.

I bid on a Mk1 Mini but lost that as well, still it was a good day out!

Where did the Esprit end up? Anyone on the Forum?
